dwat4444ParticipantI personally think they should try and work a trade with detroit for Hamilton or Prince for the 5th pick. Detroit is already looking to move up and could take either Thabeet, Hill, or Harden(If he’s there and they trade Hamilton) That would help both teams. Detroit would have two young players coming in this year from the draft. Washington would have a legit shot at a playoff run with either of these lineups….
Arenas———-Arenas
Butler———–Hamilton
Prince———–Butler
Jamison—— Jamison
Haywood——Haywood
That looks like a team built for a run. They’ve got experience combined with youth and a great player at each position.
Who do you think they could trade with?0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/12/2009 - 7:34am #162054

Knicksboy34ParticipantI Dont know…
I heard rumors about a Prince-Chandler Trade
and
I think they honestly need a big man. I say…
Washington trades
5th pick, Brendan Haywood and Nick Young
to Charlotte for
Okafor and a expiring contract.0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/12/2009 - 7:47am #162062

gatorheelsParticipantThat is a reallly good trade for both teams. Nice idea. I would love to see Charlotte get the 5th pick. Haywood is a North Carolina guy too and we all know Charlotte loves those players. Wizards could definitely used Okafor, he could help them make a deep playoff run.

Knicksboy34ParticipantYea. I think Okafor, McGee and Blatche could give you a solid frontline.
and in Charlotte’s case, you add a big man in Haywood. A SG in Young. So now with the 5th pick, you can add a DeRozan or a Hill. With the 12th pick, you can add a Blair, Mullens or even Daye.

bigguy36ParticipantThe Pistons are building around their backcourt of Stuckey and Hamilton, and Prince is by far their best defender, so unless a great trade comes around that will benefit the Pistons immediately, both of those players will be staying put. Unless someone like James Harden is available at #5, then MAYBE the Pistons deal Prince and a few role players (and hang on to the 15th pick) but no way are they going to give away another all-star like last year.
