i dint expect this move as a warrior fan. i support it since it seems like they would want steph playing off ball which is good and helps promote ball movement. i just thought we would get a more traingle offense friendly point guard. overall i like the addition, just dint expect us to be the ones handing out that kind of contract. 3 years for 16 mill.

Timberwolves are said to covet Livingston. I wouldn’t be surprised if he were dealt in a KLove trade.

The Warriors must’ve given Livingston the full MLE.

He gives them another ball handler, plus he can play three positions. He gives them a versatile defender with his length and athleticism (he’s more athletic now than before the knee injury).

I think this is a great signing, not to mention I’m just happy for Livingston.

Good fit. They have so much shooting his inability to do so won’t hurt their spacing.

Nice to see him get a pay day. Guy had to work his butt off to get back in the NBA after that knee.

He fits in very well, the only concern is they’re now capped out and they still need some pieces.

Livingston couldn’t be dealt in Kevin Love trade, because you can’t trade a new signee for 3 months.

However that may ease trading Thompson.

     Curry Livingston Iguodala Love Bogut

Trading Lee, Thompson and Barnes to Twolves.

They may eventually get back a project in LaVine also. ( if i were going to give Thompson, that seems ok for both)

But i strongly believe Warriors need a solid center backup. Maybe Okafor if he can play.

Oh, I had forgotten about Okafor. He’s one to watch for sure, if he’s available for a low price (even a bit more than the minimum) and he has at least 15 minutes left in the tank he can be a great addition for a contender.

I think it is a sign that the Dubs are trying to trade for Love. Livingston, Thompson and Curry would work as the three main guys in the backcourt, but trading for Love (give up Thompson, Lee and Barnes while maybe taking back Martin as well as Love) along with those guys would just make so much more sense. Possibly an overall defensive upgrade over the offseason, as well as a more versatile offense that is likely to promote much more ball movement. The team would be top 4 in the West IMHO with these moves, and would give the Spurs, Clippers and Thunder real problems.
