blackflash234ParticipantI think that Wally Judge is gonna suprise a lot of people next year. Imagine him running the fast break with the fastest player in college basketball in Denis Clemente! Oh the possibilities! Judge will also surprise people with his offensive skill set. That’s why I feel that Ed Davis’s stock will fall to mid lottery because Ed Davis and Wally Judge are both 2 power fowards in the same mold. Sort of undersized but super athletic. Judge being more of a freak and Davis being the better defensive player. Judge’s stock will rise to at least being a first round pick and he has potential to wind up a lottery pick if he leads Kansas State to a tournament first of all and second of all if they go on a run.

JNixonParticipantI stand behind my making an Elite 8 run prediction. Everyone mentions Judge and Clemente, and rightfully so, but from the practice footage I’ve seen Curtis Kelly gives us alot of low-post scoring,shot-blocking and rebounding that we lacked last year on an acceptable level. Also the freshman Rodney McGruder will give us shooting and slashing from the wing… Judge will have a Tyrus Thomas (2006 NCAA tourny) type impact and get picked in the mid lotto. I’m make the bold pick right now…

QHaynes20….I dunno. I wanna see Judge more. I like Davis though.
I understand you guys are K-State fan so I respect that but uh, I really don’t see Judge vaulting up to being a lotto pick. Even if K-State makes the tourney, I see him as a 2010 1st rounder.
Too much depth in the upcoming draft (If all come out).
But with Ed Davis….I gotta laugh. He’s is the main option in UNC. He will get a whole lotta touches and I see him having a great season.
Not trying to question your belief of a player’s success but- who’s the last guy who went from a unknown player coming in the season to a real lotto pick…off the top all I can think of is Randy Foye

JNixonParticipantTyrus Thomas and since the 2006 draft class (in which Randy Foye and Tyrus were members of) Joe Alexander, and most recently Russell Westbrook all were lotto picks after being long shot or not on the radar at all from their previous seasons. And Wally Judge is not an unknown player anyway, he was a top 20/5-star prospect, McDonald’s All-American and Jordan All-Star game participant. He’s on a lot of scouts radar just off of his high school pedigree. He’s a projected lotto pick on DraftX for 2011 already, and with a strong year this year he will be a lotto pick as well.

QHaynes20I dunno, I think he is more a 2011 guy then 2010 with so many prospects IMO more hyped and a good number of skill players better then him.

JNixonParticipantHow do you know if you havent seen him play?

QHaynes20I never said I seen the man play…I said I didn’t see alot.
But there are more hyped and talents better then him in this draft…according to people who are making these mock drafts…but they have been wrong b4
But I will keep an eye out for him.
I do think Davis is better IMO, I like his game. Plus, he still can learn a offensive game…he’s only 19 and played limited min last year and still had some good statlines

canesboy6Participantbut I played against Clemente in high school so I will always root for him and he got himself a nasty athlete to work with this year. I dont know if this is the best year for a power forward to come out and Im not convinved he is ready as a small forward yet. I also dont think as of now he is better than Davis. Davis isn’t undersized, he is 6’10 in shoes and filling up. Long arms too.
