Who’s with me? I must say so far this year I am truely impressed with the Heat. They’re showing up critics who were saying they wouldn’t be good enough to make 8th seed in the talented east this year.

a quote from wade “I told the guys, ‘I’m taking it upon myself to give us a spark.’” – his halftime comments to his teammates. And then sir wade went to score 29 of his 41 in the second half.

Noteable* – his numbers are down everywhere..everywhere, except scoring and ft%.

    Miami = 6-1.

I say if Wade’s healthy all year long again, this team could reach 5-6-7-8th seed.

The heat play cleveland tonight, and I’m confident that my favorite player in the league can lead the heat to victory tonight.

If Wade leads his team to be one of the best in the East he definitely has a legitimate shot at MVP, he is anything a player should be, he is a monster at attacking the basket, can hit the jumper and sometimes 3’s, super quick (Flash), strong leader, strong willed and competitive, phenomenal defender and is one of the best players in the NBA.

Wade should definitely be top 2 for MVP….if i were voting I would give it to him…Hes like Lebron doing it with limited talent, playing great both sides of the ball….Also I’d give it to him because hes leading a very young and inexperienced team and getting the best out of them…When youre best player is putting everything on the line you have no choice but to follow

as of right now, I think Kobe has the edge. But Wade and the Heat are looking very good and surprising me with their record.

dude no offence, but that’s just bias.

how is that bias? Have you been watching kobe play? Yeah wade dropped 41 last night, Kobe’s done that 3 times already this year. He had 26 in the first half the other night agaisnt NEw orleans, and only scored 2 in the second half because it was a blow out, other wise that would have been his 4th 40 point game. And they don’t have Pau or Bynum right now. Again, how is that bias?

i personally think wade has the edge, because the lakers are still more talented at the moment.

    artest > beasely

fisher > or = chalmers in talent, fisher just has so much more experience and has hit so many clutch shots in his career

Wades numbers are down everywher except for ft% and his scoring, and he’s leading the heat to 6-1. in my opinion, he’s got the edge on kobe.

but you can’t just look at talent around them. Right now Mbenga is playing center, Fisher has not looked good at all, and while Artest has found his niche recently, he started really slow. If you think Wade has the edge, then that’s understandable, but you can’t just base that on the rest the roster. If you watch how Kobe is playing, he is playing better then Wade imo.

I think he should have won it last year because of how bad his team was and how they improved with him on the floor but the nba just had to pay lebron and kobe back for giving nash and dirk their mvp’s! This is turning into a team award and if kobe keeps playing the way he’s playing he will win it easy. I love kobe but i would love to see wade get mvp for they way he played last year he had little talent and put them on his back and got wins and he gave the same effort on defense he deserved it

we’re just talkin opinions anyway lol. whether or not kobe or wade is playing better is something that can be disected to something as little as minutes per game…or attitude…stuff like that.

Bynum did play a few games right, like 3-4?

I aint takin nothing away from kobe, he’s definitly a top 2 player in the league every year.

both Wade and Lebron played better then Kobe in my mind last year. I went with Lebron though because his team won like 22 more games. And before you say that was because he had more talent, I think Lebron was playing just as well on an individual basis as Wade regardless of the teammates. If two guys are darn near a toss up, then how could you not take wins into consideration? If a guy on a .500 team wants the mvp, then he needs to clearly be the best player. And if a guy on a .500 team is clearly the best player, then he deserves the mvp and people who hold the wins against him are haters. However, that was not the case last year. He was not clearly better then Lebron.

I hope Wade wins it but right now I think Kobe and Nash have the lead. But I did pick him preseason to win it so I think he will still find a way to win it.
