ChicagoCaseyParticipantI believe the best fit in this draft for the Bucks is Wade Baldwin. I don’t believe he’s top 10 worthy, but I believe if the Bucks can trade down he will be a perfect fit for what the Bucks want to do. I know a lot of people believe he is overrated, but I see him as a "juiced" up Jarryd Bayless, and Bayless w/ the core three of the Bucks played outstanding together. All his weaknesses can be hidden on the Bucks, he might be a bit of a tweener. He won’t be the primary ball handler on the Bucks and he have the potential be a great defender, Greek Freak won’t be able to be the primary defender on smaller PG’s all the time.
I actually love what Wade Baldwin brings to the table. He have great size for the position, 6-foot-4 – 6’11.5" wingspan – 202 pounds – 38" vertical., and he can really shoot the ball. He can play both the 2, as well as the point. and can defend multiple defenders. I believe he is the ideal point guard/secondary ball handler for the Bucks. He is very similar to Jarryd Bayless, who when paired w/ Giannis, Jabari, and Khris Middleton have an elite offensive and defensive ratings. If he’s coached right, he can be a great player, in my opinion.
I wouldn’t mind them selecting him number 10 because I believe he’s worth it due to his potential and his fit with the team. I wouldn’t call that a reach because outside of Dunn this point guard class is weak, and Baldwin have the most potential outside of Dunn for a point guard. I wouldn’t say Baldwin should be there first choise because I believe Deyonta Davis could be the choise at number 10. I just feel like Baldwin is the best fit for the Bucks and what they want as a secondary ball handler to Giannis.

Chilbert arenasParticipantCouldn’t agree more. With the talent they have they need spacing and perimeter defense, he brings both. A friend and I have actually been discussing how this would be such a good fit it will never happen. Too good to be true type situation.

OhCanada-ParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if it happened. The Bucks are notorious for picking prospects higher than projected and making it work. With this draft there is a lot of talented players from 8-25 is basically a matter of preference especially at PG where Ulis, Barber, Baldwin, and Jackson have very different games yet not much separation in talent.

BasterdInABasketParticipantI haven’t seen a whole lot of him but he does seem like an ideal fit next to Giannis as combo guard who can defend opposing point guards and knock down jumpers off Giannis’s penetration. Seeing his length is really intriguing if you put him alongside Giannis, Middleton, Henson(?) and Monroe(?)..
I still would like to see Denzel Valentine on this team too. I don’t know how much his lack of elite athleticism really hurts him next level, and he seems like a hard worker and guys that will get better and better despite being a senior, sort of similar to how Draymond and McCollum both have proved recently. Ten is maybe a little early according to a lot of mocks but he wasn’t NPOY for nothing..
Obviously a boom or bust type pick, but I wouldn’t even be upset at them taking Maker if they think they can reign in all that talent and find a role. We’ll see if Kidd and Hammond swing for the fences again. I’d personally be good with any of those three guys including Baldwin and him not even being in this sites first round mock is crazy

TheLastWordParticipantI do like that pick for them as makes them elite length at nearly all positions. Having said that, I see no star power in him, more of a George Hill player. At #10 though its good value.

r377ParticipantThe former 17th overall pick, Baldwin was today officially waived by the Grizzlies

XYRYXParticipantThe Thunder should give him a hard look if no other proven backup point guards are beeing waived now. They have one roster spot open after waiving Semaj and Canaan.
I always liked Baldwin as a prospect and think he could be what Trey Burke could have been for them before this deal fell apart like two weeks ago or something.
