With all the attention focused on the other free agents, what’s been going on with Wade and his future?

I bet he is pissed at LBJ if he signs with the Cavs. Wade just turned down $20mill so they could all re-sign at a cheaper rate giving them a chance to land some good free agents.
If the other two leave I think Wade stays in Miami, plays another 2 or 3 seasons then looks at retiring. His body isn’t holding up too well these days….
Lebron only played 4 seasons in Miami, I think if Wade retires a Heat he goes down as their all-time fav player. (players start to think legacy or history in the later stages of their career)

  He’s a grown man, he didn’t have to just opt out and cross his fingers and hope Lebron would come back. Everyone knew there was a very real chance Lebron wouldn’t come back.

    I’m pretty sure they would have had a conversation about Lebron’s future, and that Wade would opt out if Lebron would resign. Up until about 3 weeks ago, everyone and their mom thought Lebron was going back to Miami. So to say "everyone knew there was a very real chance Lebron wouldn’t come back" is false. Everyone thought he would resign, with Bosh and Wade taking less money.
