Hector_Reyes_8Participant1. Aldridge. I still say he’s the best as he’s in his prime, has a great offensive game, and is an underrated defender. He’s also the first option on a WC playoff team, so there’s that.
2. Davis, obviously. NO EXPLANATION NEEDED.
3. I’ll say Randolph. He’s consistently one of the best scorers and rebounders at his position yet is never talked about. He’s a solid one-on-one guy on defense and hustles like the world’s about to end. He also pisses Blake off in the Grizz-Clips games, which I love.
4. I’d say Love, but then people would say “Oh, cuz he is on the Cavs with LeBron and he’s going to win titles?” No, cuz he’s a no-d big who pads his stats and wanted to play in a hilariously bad organization. Instead, I’ll say Blake. A man with his size and strength shouldn’t be dropped on a floor like a sack of potatoes. He also fails to show up in the playoffs, like fellow 2009 draftee Harden.
5. Look at 2.
6. YOU CAN’T HANDLE RANDLE!!!
7. Josh Smith. He needs to be moved. The Pistons need prime Ray-Ray and Mark Price to allow Smith, Monroe, and Drummond space. Blake too but he’s a b**ch.
8. Timmay! (Or Garnett, he’s a bball psychopath.)

festar35Participant1. Best PF right now? Anthony Davis – He can do a bit of everything and has amazing defensive ability. Offensively he put up 20ppg and still has an insane amount of growing still to do. He just has the best all around game, the others guys close are Griffin, Aldridge and Love however they all lack defensively.
2. Best PF in 5 years? Anthony Davis – See above
3. Most Underrated? Chris Bosh – He has been the 3rd string guy behind Wade and James for the last 4 years and I feel people have forgotten how good he is. He was forced outta position due to necessity and did ok. I think he will start showing he is still an elite player in the league.
4. Most Overrated? Kevin Love – If he is really the great player people make him out to be I feel that the T-Wolves would have had at least one play off series under their belt. Defensively there is a lot to be desired and he doesn’t seem to have that killer instinct that other winners do.
5. Best Young PF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)? Anthony Davis
6. Best Rookie PF? Julius Randle – The most NBA ready and still possesses great potential.
7. Most Athletic? Blake Griffin – He is always fantastic to watch in the open floor.
8. Most Skilled? Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis – Can’t separate the two as they both have a knack to get out in the open floor handling the ball, able to attack off the dribble from time to time and a knack to pass.
9. Best Leader? Dirk Nowitzki – I just keep going back to their championship run and watching Dirk 100% lead from the front. With another contender this year I expect that Dirk to be back.
10. Top TWO all time? Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki – Duncan is easy. The reason I have Dirk is he has changed the PF position, there hasn’t been a player like him before he is an NBA champ, one of the greatest all time scorers and just a fantastically consistent player.

I totally understand, which is why I hardly ever watch tv unless it’s sports, and I’m very selective about what’s on. I prefer to read, write, log-in online, and find my own truths.

joecheck88Participant1) Blake Griffin – Not Davis as of end of last year, IMO. And Blake took his game to the next level under Doc.
2) Anthony Davis – Should be great on both sides of the ball
3) Terrence Jones – Maybe out on a limb but they don’t need another 4. In basically his first full year he was terrific and will get better.
4) Kevin Love – Great player and deserves his accolades but as a TWolve he was overrated. Never won. Fits in CLE as second fiddle.
5) Anthony Davis
6) Jabari Parker – I feel he is mostly a 4 in this league and GA is their SF. Maybe not this year but he’s a 4 to me

lalailaParticipant1. Best PF right now? by the end of the season it was tough between LA and Blake, but NOW with all those hypes of 15pounds gained, improved jumpshot and the way he is playing for the USA- yes Anthony Davis has arrived
2. Best PF in 5 years? Anthony Davis and looks like at that time (AD at 26yo) it might be not even close.
3. Most Underrated? Chris Bosh I think (unless you consider him center) I believe 22/9 season is coming now
4. Most Overrated? I like him, but yes it might be Love because outside of stats he hasn’t done that much to be rated #6 NBA player ( in 2012 by ESPN if i’m correct)
5. Best Young PF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)? Brow Brow Brow
6. Best Rookie PF? Randle, he will be beast I hope.
7. Most Athletic? Blake for sure
8. Most Skilled? considering what means for PF to be skilled? is it two way player (then Love is outside consideration) or the most versitile.. I will go with a popular choice Timmy
9. Best Leader? Duncan

lalailaParticipant1.
Duncan
10. Top TWO All-Time? Duncan Malone

IndianaBasketballParticipant1. Best PF right now? LaMarcus Aldridge – He’s a go-to player offensively. You can run an offense through him on the block, where his added strength and bulk allow him to play more physical around the rim. His fade-away over his left shoulder is damn near unstoppable. You have to double him, so he makes the game easier for his teammates. Foul him and he shoots 82% at the line. He’s great off of the ball too in P&P, P&R or drive and dish. He’s one of the best mid-range shooters in the league. Defensively, he doesn’t stuff a stat sheet, but he’s where he’s supposed to, solid on the ball and is a solid rim protector. Opponents shot around the same percentage against him at the rim as they shot against Anthony Davis and DeAndre Jordan. He averaged 11.1 RPG last season, a career high. Simply put… There are just not many players with his height, length, reach, size, skill, hands, feet, athleticism and touch. He’s not flashy, but I think he’s the best right now. He’s developed into a strong leader too.
2. Best PF in 5 years? Anthony Davis – Not only will he be best at his position, I think he could have a chance to be the best in the league. As his body continues to fill out and he becomes a go-to player on the block, I think he’ll be a legit MVP player every season.
3. Most Underrated? Serge Ibaka – I just don’t think he receives enough credit. There just aren’t very many players like him. He finishes 68.5% of his shots at the rim, which is amongst the best in the league. He shoots 46.9% from mid-range, which is also amongst the best in the league. He’s one of the best catch and shoot players in the league. The sample size is small, but he’s shown he’s capable of extending his range out to the three-point line as well. Defensively, he covers so much ground. He’s a great shot blocker and rim protector. He held his opponents to 43.9% at the rim, which was third behind Roy Hibbert and Robin Lopez. He’s only 25 years old and he can get so much better.
4. Most Overrated? Kevin Love – He’s never been the best power forward in basketball. Strong as a bull, but plays zero defense… Has too many lapses and turns his head on the ball too much. People seem to give him a pass while with the T-Wolves, but he was a part of the problem.
5. Best Young PF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)? Anthony Davis – No competition
6. Best Rookie PF? Julius Randle – I think Jabari Parker is a three
7. Most Athletic? Blake Griffin – Nobody has his combination of freak athletic gifts at his position.
8. Most Skilled? Tim Duncan – He’s not called the "Big Fundamental" for no reason. My 2nd place vote goes to Pau Gasol.
9. Best Leader? David West – He’s more than just a leader. He’s like a big brother, wise uncle, etc. They call him Uncle West. He leads both vocally and by example on and off of the court.
10. Top TWO All-Time? – Tim Duncan and Karl Malone
11. Favorite Current PF? David West

rileymcshea3Participant1.Best:Anthony Davis- Best all around PF, definitely stands out the most defensively among the elite PFs (Love,Aldridge, and Griffin) and his offensive game isn’t that far behind them (20 ppg)
2.Best in 5: Anthony Davis-Unlimited potential, only getting better
3.Most underrated: Chris Bos- 20 and 10 guy in Toronto and got better defensively on the Heat. He’ll show out this year with LeBron gone.
4. Most overrated: Kevin Love- Although I think he is really good he still hasn’t proved if his stats are worth something
5. Best Young: Anthony Davis
6.Best Rookie: Julius Randle-Unless Jabari plays the 4 this year
7. Most athletic: Blake a Griffin- Easily the most athletic
8. Most skilled: Dirk Nowitzki- Can shoot from anywhere, great face up moves, good passer
9. Best leader: Tim Duncan- So much success as a leader
10. Top two all time:Duncan and Malone
11.Favorite: Dirk- Mavs fan here0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/31/2014 - 9:16am #947656
