jojososaParticipantOlympiacos signed Von Wafer who spent last season with Houston Rockets. 24-year-old 1.96 m shooting guard should replace Thomas Kelati whose contract with the Greek giants is likely to be cancelled after he failed to pass medical examination.
It is reported that Wafer will earn $5 million in two years at Olympiacos. He averaged 9.7 points last season in NBA.
Von Wafer played for five NBA teams during his four-year career – Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets.
Olympiacos are still looking for a point guard and are very close to landing Linas Kleiza.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/09/2009 - 8:18am #198226

sheltwon3ParticipantMcCants is a nice scorer but he has to learn to do other stuff.

JNixonParticipantHe does need more skills, but the Knicks could use instant offense off the bench. And when he tries to defend, Ive seen him harass his matchup pretty nasty.

RickyRubio9ParticipantVon Wafer was good enough to stay in this league, guess he felt no one wanted him and that was the best offer he had gotten.

Meditated StatesParticipantIs not the answer don’t do it. I thought he would be a lot better when he was coming out. Hot cold player who does not do much else.
