SixerBloodParticipantWe all know Villanova won the NCAA Champion in an instant classic fashion, we also know the names Hart and Jenkins… But what about Redshirt Freshman Mikal Bridges?
"Mikal Bridges was arguably the X Factor of the entire NCAA Tournament!"
Although he was involved in A LOT of highlight plays good and bad, Bridges provided athleticism, quickness , toughness and legnth on defense usually guarding the opposing teams best player which ultimately led to them SHUTTING DOWN Buddy Hield and hold off UNC for the title…
I just wanna know did anyone else notice this kid? He has NBA written all over?

TRC1991ParticipantHe’ll be a name we talk about next year for sure. He should have a much bigger impact this upcoming season. I hope Josh Hart returns too.

ChewyParticipantmy player to watch is still Jalen Brunson. He played like a senior, on a national championship team, as a freshman. He is more of a control the pace and distribute point guard, so I’m interested in seeing his development at Nova.

providencefriars1ParticipantBridges has first round potential and is the best prospect on Nova. Length/athletic/can shoot

JoeWolf1Needs to add strength, but he was an impressive defender on both Perry Ellis (combo forward) and Buddy Hield at the guard spot.
He’s really got a great wingspan, but he’s really light, and isn’t much of an outside shooter yet. He’s going to have to be at least passable at the SG spot in the NBA on offense, and I feel like he’s very far away from that. Bridges is certainly a player to watch, but he’s got a long way to go before finding a role in the much different styled NBA.
He’s a bit like Andre Roberson right now (which isn’t enough to get anyone really excited), but I do agree he has the potential to improve, and be a legit prospect. Just gotta hammer home those guard skills over the next couple seasons.
I also feel Brunson is the best NBA prospect on Nova right now.
