White ChocolateParticipantThe Magic have been rumored to be shopping Vince Carter, and the Jazz would most likely like to get rid of Andrei Kirilenko so I though what about a Kirilenko for Carter swap? It works under teh cap and it would be an interesting situation for both teams.
Utah Jazz
PG Williams
SG Carter(Matthews would be the 6th man)
SF Miles(Trading Kirilenko opens up some more playing time for Hayward)
PF Millsap
C OkurOrlando Magic
PG Nelson
SG Redick(He would be able to start if Carter leaves)
SF Kirilenko
PF Lewis(Slide Lewis to the 4 where he can play and start Kirilenko at the 3)
C HowardWhat do you guys think bout this trade idea?

JazzinSLCParticipantI think I’d rather have Kirilenko though. He is a better all around player, and Carter isn’t what he used to be. Plus it will be nice to have Kirilenko contract coming off the books after this coming season. I wouldn’t want to get locked into another bad contract.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOnly Issue I see is Orlando wants to play Lewis at the 3 more.
He’s been playing the 4 for like 3 years now lol
VC only has one year left in his deal.

JazzinSLCParticipantShot selection…he has a tough enough time with Kirilenko’s. LOL
It doesn’t really address much of a need for either team, other then shaking things up. Lewis never has been, and never will be a real power forward. I agree he should be shifted to the three or dealt.
I’d rather the Jazz got some length with guys like Gortat or Bass.
