ghettosermonParticipantI’m disappointed with Danny Granger’s effort. You see Kevin Love and Chandler trying their hardest no matter how many minutes they get. Granger gets out there and plays so lazy and doesn’t give any effort. If you are trying to earn minutes you have to go after loose balls and crash the boards, Granger is just kind of there. All he cares about is getting his points. It’s a bit troubling considering IMO if Granger ever gets a ring he won’t be the best player on his team, so he needs to learn how to give more effort in more than just scoring.

doubledribblerParticipantGhettosermon…you couldn’t have said it any better about Granger. it’s really disappointing because he was a guy I really liked, but my opinion is starting to change. I know he is used to being the man, but so are a lot of these other guys. There is no way he shouldn’t be doing more. Some may point to his lack of playing time, but he hasn’t played well in limited minutes and he’s not getting the effort.
I hope that love starts getting a lot more minutes in games that aren’t just blowouts. He’s the best big man in my opinion of the 3 they have. I know when Odom is on and focused he is amazing, but you really never know when that’s going to happen. Love is very consistent and he is perfect for the international game. Tyson should be glued to the bench. I think Westbrook would get more blocks as a center if you told him to just go out and block shots. Somehow Tyson has this reputation for being a great shot blocker, defender and rebounder. The only thing he has been above average at is shotblocking and he’s not a great one. Dallas was better off keeping Eric Dampier.

ghettosermonParticipantStylistically it’s a nightmare for Angola. They play like Team USA except their talent isn’t even in the same galaxy as Team USA. Their strengths are weaknesses against USA. I’m not gonna trash Angola. Look how they beat Germany, their athleticism and guard play took over.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe word around Indianapolis is that Granger isn’t healthy and has a few nagging injuries, but his effort has been disappointing. He’s playing like he’s ready to go home.

stanford hoopsRose improved his shooting based on what? He’s shooting the same or below his two point fg percentage last season. He’s made this many threes in a game before

knicksfan7ParticipantHe seems a lot more confident taking the shots from distance, maybe his % has not improved, but that will come if he continues to develop. I am guaranteeing that Rose’s 3pt % will be better than his first two seasons.

stanford hoopsI agree he seems more confident. Let’s remember though he’s not shooting from
NBA three point range. It’s fiba three point range. Something like college three which is a long jumper0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/06/2010 - 12:40pm #395570
