Donald Sloan has been signed by Sacramento.
The Arizona Republic reported Scottie Reynolds was invited to Suns camp.
Joe Dumars was quoted on Edgar Sosa and Mac Koshwal. “I will say this, there are a couple of guys who have gotten our attention. Edgar Sosa being one of them Edgar Sosa has gotten our attention with his play and we love Mac Koshwal’s tenacity on the court. Those two kids have caught our attention. Now we’ve got the rest of the week. Those kids have had a couple of really good days, but we have to see them for the rest of the week and we’ll evaluate them. But those two have caught our attention.”
The Houston Chronicle says Ishmael Smith has been given an open invite to Rockets camp, though they do have 15 players with guaranteed contracts meaning his chances are not great.
The Charlotte Observer’s Rick Bonnell that Sherron Collins likely will be invited to the Charlotte Bobcats’ preseason training camp,

JNixonParticipantEdgar Sosa did look impressive for Detroit. He played quick, looked good in the drive and dish, and seemed to be less erratic and reckless than he was at Louisville.
I always thought Donald Sloan was an NBA player. I even made a topic about it! Good for him.
Ish Smith can play in the NBA. His speed and passing ability are at least good enough to be a 3rd PG.
Ben Uzoh has nice speed and athleticism and long arms (6’9 wingspan on a 6’2 frame), and good defensive potential. Brian Zoubek? I just don’t get it…

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI think the Pistons found 2 steals in Koshwal and Sosa.
I remember watching Sosa as a sophomore RIPPING up Acie Law in the NCAA Tournament. I think Pitino is NOT a NBA player groomer and he left without any hype. Had he went to a school like St. John’s or even Seton Hall, he would at least gotten some hype as a scoring PG.
Koshwal was a stud. I wanted NY to take him in round 2. I think he’s a energy guy every team needs.
