cuseflynn10ParticipantI’ve said it multiple times on this website, Jae Crowder, and Darrius Johnson-Odom are two of the most underrated players. Crowder went off for 29 points and 12 rebounds and Odom added 24 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
This #13 Marquette team is really only 6 men deep and of those 6 men the tallest is 6’8. The fact that any team goes 22-5 is impressive. When your a Big East team that is 22-5 with 4 guards and 2 forwards, and still maintain a top 15 ranking, that is impressive.
I’m surprised these two guys don’t get talked up more. If these guys have an off night, who’s going to pick it up? Junior Cadougan or Vander Blue? Their solid players, but aren’t ready to take over a team. Crowder and DJO make Marquette the threat it is. I don’t see how these guys are projected 2nd round in a mock.

JoeWolf1I wrote this in a post in Jan, but this pretty much sums up how I feel about Crowder.
I think he can make a roster, I thought at the beginning of the year he could be a potential 2nd rounder, because he had such a hot start. I was under the assumtion he had really improved his shooting and I envisioned him as a defender/spot up 3 type player in the NBA.
His percentages have dropped a bit, but he’s still a really tough guy who’s made tons of big plays in his career. The fact that he is 6’6” is going to hurt him unless he can really improve his 3 point shot before the draft. Right now, I don’t think he’ll get drafted, but he’ll be a guy that teams will love to bring in to summer ball. I think he could make a roster, but he needs to improve in some areas first.
Marquettes a pretty solid team too. A NCAA tournament run and a nice week in the Portsmouth can do a lot for a player. I don’t think he’s on anyone’s board right now, but plenty of guys have played their way in to a draft spot or an undrafted FA contract. He’s got some work ahead of him, in my opinion, but I think he has the potential to do so, from the way he plays on the court he seems like a hard working, dedicated player.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantAlot of scouts agree that both Marquette and Missouri have several guys that are nba prospects..But only Crowder might go in the 1st round..Becuz of his high energy..Several others have holes in their games and might go undrafted and make a roster after training camp….

MalcolmxParticipantIn the beginning on the year drafftexpress had DJO as late first round I feel he still is that
