What they are doing to UCLA looks like something a nba team would do. They are bigger than NBA teams and they play just as good D as NBA teams.

  wrong UConn had Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Napier, Deandre Daniels, boatright, and Oriakhi one season and they had 14 losses in college bball. you’re telling me that that team would lose every game in the nba? really?

    Having NBA prospects does not equal having an NBA team. Kentucky has NBA athletes, but they couldn’t win in the NBA. Not enough shooting and they would be really TO-prone against NBA teams. They don’t run an NBA quality offense.
    The fact that a super talented UConn team couldn’t even win consistently in the NCAA just shows how difficult it is to win with raw athletes. What UK is doing right now is incredible. They would still get crushed if the played an NBA team, with older, more experienced players at every position. And every NBA team has a more skilled backcourt than Kentucky.

      other than Daniels and boatright, none of these players got leaps and bounds better from 2012 to their rookie seasons.
      UK has shown their guys are not just prospects but pretty NBA ready.

This team’s athleticism, skills, and size translates to the NBA game even better than how it translates to the college game. WCS is 5 times better than Tarik Black(the current backup of the Houston Rockets), Towns is going to be a top 3 pick, the twins are better than Hollis Thompson, Covington. Dakari is better than Henry Sims.

  He may become better, but he isn’t better right now. Covington is better than either of the twins by a wide margin. KJ McDaniels is better than Marcus Lee. Noel is better than WCS, especially on defense. MCW is better than Devin Booker.
  Experience matters a lot. Towns may be a top-3 pick, but he will take time to be a genuinely good pro.

    Hollis Thompson is better than any of their wings, if Poythress was healthy he is no better than Jerami Grant. James Anderson is a more potent scorer than anyone on Kentucky, Tony Wroten is better than either twin. Teague and Ulis are probably on a equal level.
    All of these statements are true when these players were in college trying to become nba players, let alone the fact that they now have nba experience and training. Also Mbah a Moute would destroy any perimeter Kentucky player on both sides of the court.

all of these guys will need time to develop into solid nba players. UCLA missed lots of open shots that nba players wont. they Every nba team is full of guys who would start for kentucky right now and push kentucky’s starters to the bench.

Agree they probably couldn’t beat a NBA team, but wouldn’t surprise me if they beat the 76ers. As far as UCLA missing a bunch of open shots, did you watch the game? I don’t remember more than two or three shots that UCLA had open and that might be generous, every shot they took was contested

Yall are idiots. If UK played the 76ers 10 times they would lose by 20+ each time. Look at this years nba rookie class, even when it they were healthy they all looked awful. Imagine this entire rookie class on an NBA team, there is no question they would go close to 0-82. Keep in mind this rookie class was heralded as one of the best ever. Now this is an entire class we are talking about. UK is only 1 team out of a whole class that is only 12 games into their entire season. Did you guys forget that Columbia and Buffalo stayed close to this UK team for almost the whole game (and Columbia lead for most of it)? This is no NBA team, shut your asses.

  To be fair didn’t we send some of the best players the NBA has to offer to some fiba games and end up losing to PR by 20? Because of this I just can’t say never. Same thing with a bunch of 19-21 year olds beating the dream team once in a scrimmage
