llperezhttp://espn.go.com/los-angeles/ncb/story/_/id/6809569/ucla-guard-jerimeanderson-suspended-arrest
UCLA senior to be pg Jerime Andersen was arrested and charged with felony theft for apparently stealing a lap top. He has been indefenitely suspended from the team.
Dont know how long this whole thing lasts or how many games he misses, but i have little sympathy for theft if he is in fact guilty and i wouldnt even be mad if he was dismissed from the team. I dont know the whole story, but this is just one of those no excuse things in my book. Stealing from people is not a mistake, its a lack of character.
I doubt it would be that serious though, im sure he will just miss maybe a few weeks or something. It would be a big loss as he was the teams top 6th man last year and i expect him to take over malcolm lees starting spot in the backcourt. His leadership was gonna be important for a bruin team already lacking perimter play.

highflyer0ParticipantHate to see this happen but I am looking forward to seeing how Tyler Lamb has developed and seeing freshman Norman Powell and the JC transfer Deend Parker. I think 1 out of the 3 will step up.

Scottoant93ParticipantThis kind of reminds of me the marcus williams uconn stealing laptops thing, its a shame that players have to commit stupid crimes such as theft, assualt, dui and etc. I mean its a shame they have every opportunity to succeed and do what thousands of kids want to do and they throw it away for stupid stuff they could easily get if they work harder. Every year there are several players getting dismissed for stupid crimes such as these

llpereztyler lamb has legit skills and i assume he is gonna get thrown out there this season regardless if he is ready becasue he was a complete non factor last year and needed lots of fine tuning. But for better or worse he will play this year. Dont know much about the new comers. I have a strong feeling that reeves nelson will start at sf allowing one of the wear twins to start at pf. Nelson is defenitely not a sf, but he showed a lot of development in his perimter skills last year and if he countinues that the bruins might make it work.

highflyer0ParticipantLamb actually reminded me a little bit of how Westbrook was his freshman year, quick, explosive, no shot and had a hard time finishing. I’m not saying Lamb is Russell Westbrook but he should be greatly improved with a year of Howland’s coaching under his belt. UCLA seems to build point guards while Kentucky buys them lol.

llperezyeah, lamb was one of those guys that you just know he has the tools. Gets wherever he wants, can run and pull up off the dribble. Problem was nothing went in and the team was significantly worse with him on the court, lol. I expect him to be a solid player this year.
