HandDownManDown13ParticipantI just saw tyronn lue sitting behind Doc and doc was talking to him. Did the celtics hire him as an assistant coach or is he just a scrub who doesnt dress for the team?
or both?

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantHe’s kind of a player mentor. He helps the younger point guards learn more about the game even though Rondo is 10 times better than Tyronn Lue.

TRC1991Participantit doesnt matter if rondo is “10 times better” Lue played 10 seasons in the NBA and although wasn’t overly productive, he still knows the game because he was a point guard who has a lot to teach about being a professional

McWinningParticipantHe used to be my favorite player in the league when he was with the Lakers (hate the Lakers now, but they were awesome back then) he really isnt a scrub, he was a good defender, and one season averaged 13.4 points, and 5.4 assists, with high percentages.

joecheck88Participanttyronn lue is what the nba needs more of, guys that work hard on their game to make it, and lue got his chance in the finals against the best scorer in the league at the time in allen iverson by playing tough defense. rondo may be more than 10 times better but lue is the gritty kind of player that can challenge rondo to be better.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI was just joking. He was a solid backup point guard. Just like the Snowman (Eric Snow). He was a good defender, team leader, and distributor.

JoeWolf1it was worded 3 rings more than, meaning everyone he listed has 0…which is not accurate

JNixonParticipantI remember watching Tyronn Lue play for the Lakers when I was younger and he had on his warmup. I thought he was a ballboy or one of the people that sweep up the floor, but then he took it off and had on a jersey. lol. I was so surprised he was a player despite being that small and looking so young haha.
