BasketballGuru24ParticipantIm not a hater but ive talk to people with better handles. The moves aren’t that crazy, except the one he pulls off last few secs of the clip. Uses a bunch of head fakes and left to right crosses. For a 2 guard that is normal handles. Lets also consider the fact that he is playing against high school level competition that are pretty scared to guard an nba player that can drive in with ease and shoot pretty well

butidonthavemoneyHe’s playing a bunch of high school kids.
Some of those moves are nice, but there is no defense. Might as well be in a gym alone.

TheWizardParticipantI just love Tyreke’s instinct toward the basket and to drive in the paint. I think one of his greater tools is his under-rated passing game. Even though his stats last year didnt convey this, many would agree that his teamates were simply not knocking them down. With Carmelo on his team, the kings would have one of the most versatile offensive games in the league with carmelo, tyreke, landry, cousins, and udrih (may not know about udrih, but he has a knock down mid-ranger).
Bryant 24, keep the vids coming!

Toronto16ParticipantWho cares if he was playing high school guys, those guy are the highest rated prospects in America. The guy has handles and can flat out play. Remember Jordan/The Big O and Lebron are the only guys who have done what Tyreke did in his rookie season. The guy is special.

MagikKnickParticipantYou can give them alI the negatives you want, but I agree with Guru and Nomoney, Tyreke drives to the basket with ease vs most NBA players, what do you think hes gonna do to high school players, even if they are the top players in the country at HS level.
I love Reke’s game, but in this video was nothing more than standard starting SG stuff

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThanks to Money, I could avoid this video.
Show me some crossovers against some NBA players, then we can evaluate.

SDEParticipantWhy do people keep saying SG with reke name the last i saw he was the PG for the kings. But yeah he was toying with them HS boys people dont know reke was pllaying against grown men since he was 12. His handle is crazy check youtube for him i remember he buckled Kobe down a couple of times. And Guru24 that left to right move is called the in-and-out its about the best i seen for a basketball player other than melo doing that one move

sc0rebuckets11Participanti dont think it was mostly his handle that the hs kids were scared of tho.. it was his size.
6’5 230…
you are bound to find folks with handles more than anything else. that’s just how it is.
BUT, not with footwork & counters.. not too many people can anticipate, and react quickly.. specially with NBA pace.
