Jlv2012they will probably trade him in the offseason for a role player and cash considerations.

mosdefParticipantthe question should be what can they get for him is what will dictate if he gets traded. He is a tall tweener. Cant really shoot for a SG but his TOs and low assist doesnt equal PG. Its not like he has won a whole lot either, college included.
I know 76ers Collins HATES Evan Turner so maybe they could swap players to pair Jimmer with a tall PG

FearTheStacheParticipantIf Celtics could get him for nothing, I would be in love

mosdefParticipantactually, are you saying that Tyreke and Cousinscant play together? Cousins can be the focal point of the Kings with Tyreke being the Robin

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI think the kings should hold on to him. IMO the front office is the problem. Cousins and tyreke are nice together.
Jimmer was a horrible pick and Marcus Thornton is the one who really needs to go
I say give tyreke one more year.
Pg: lil zeke
Sg: tyreke
Sf: Terrence Williams
Pf: boogy
C: Drummond
That would e the most athletic squad in the L

mookieParticipantYeah..reke doesn’t seem to have the passion. Plus his J is worse than rodney stukey’s! Did you hear what Nocioni said about him?

dede21They should chuck him and Thomas and let Terrence Williams run the show, Thomas is fun to watch but lets face facts you cannot contend playing guys who are 5’7

mgreener_34ParticipantI think now with Demarcus Cousins showing that he’s the franchise player, Tyreke is probably on his way out. He’s digressed since his rookie year, and you have to think that if Barnes or MKG don’t fall to the Kings then they are going to be hard pressed on taking a guard again this year. Robinson might be a decent fit, but with the likes of Beal or Lamb to combo with Cousins it might be to hard to pass up. There are plenty of teams with two first rounders in this years draft that might bite on an Evans deal. The Celtics two first rounders for example, or maybe trade him in a deal to the Jazz or Blazers for a pick and player.
If they get Barnes though, then that would be a match made in heavan because it would give him more room to operate, and would allow him to play the SG spot, which I think is his best possition. Tyreke slashing to the hoop with Cousins on the block and Barnes on the perimeter is just dangerous.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI think most of you guys are being too hard on him. He’s 22 years old and is averaging 16.5 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 4.6 APG and 1.4 SPG. He might never be the franchise player some thought he looked like as a rookie but he’s a good young player that certainly isn’t the main reason that the Kings are losing.
Even Thornton who get’s alot of flak spaces the floor for the Kings and is arguably their best shooter.
The main reasons the Kings suck is their voids at other positions, they need a SF in big way. Someone who can preferably defend and shoot. They could also use a high energy PF with length, athleticism and defensive ability

PulseGlazerParticipantThe team is horribly constructed with no plan. It isn’t fantasy basketball. They need a pick and pop 4, a defending, corner shooting 3, and a starting calibur 1. They can get one of those positions through the draft, but the rest? I doubt anyone else has nearly the value as Tyreke, so to move him for multiple assets that better fit the team makes sense. This always gets me negged, but whatever. I’d love to see Tyreke for Turner and Meeks. Tyreke could dominate the ball and look to score more in Philly (while learning a ton from Doug and perhaps reaching his defensive potential) while Turner could start at the 1 for Sac with Meeks as a floor spacing 2. Turner playing the 1 on O and 2 on D would also allow Thomas and Jimmer more options.
