I watched his game today against USC bound Jordan Mclaughlin(Top 40 recruit) and Etiwanda High school which is ranked Number 6 in the nation by USA today. Ulis’s team lost by 6 points but Tyler was just flat out balling. His final stats were 30 points with 8 assist. Though he lost he did out duel Mclaughlin and showed everyone why he is headed to UK. A few Mcdonalds all american voters were in the building and word is starting to swirl around that he may have locked himself a spot in the game. His heart is unmeasurable. He tried his best to will his team to victory in the 4th quarter but it just was not enough. There is not anything he can’t do with a basketball and he is jet quick.  This may not be a popular opinion but I think he is going to be very good as a freshman at Kentucky. He can play an up and down pace of basketball and can play a half court slowed down pace. I think people sleep on him because of his size but I think some people need to start waking up.He is a stud.

He’s a smarter PG at the same stage than all the other 5 star PGs that Cal has had.  He’s just not as physically talented. He’ll be fine. Unlike those other PGs he actually knows how to run an offense.

I wonder what the chances are of the Harrison’s returning.  It doesn’t sound like scouts are too impressed by their play.  They’re also super close, so if one doesn’t declare, the other might not either.

Siggy your right on. I honestly think if Andrew Harrison returns that Tyler Ulis will give him a push for some Playing time. He may not start at first and may not get much minutes at first but as the year were to progress he would begin to be featured more. He is just that good.

As far as the Harrison Declaring though i’m of the mindset that the season is still young. They have not been impressive so far though. It’s Still a lot more games to prove what they are worth.
