IlladelphParticipantEvery time the nbadraft.net mock draft is updated I always pick out a few players’ positions that I disagree with. I know that it’s a mock draft, and it’s not necessarily put together with team needs in mind. However I have a bone to pick with the person who does this mock draft.
Tyler Ulis has consistently been undervalued on this site’s mock draft. I have had him as a late first rounder for a while and have believed in his pro potential since early this season. Looking at other mock drafts, they all have Ulis in the first round, and ESPN even has him as the last lottery pick. This site is seriously undervaluing him. Anthony Barber ahead of Tyler Ulis? Seriously?
Dwayne Bacon. Ok, he is staying in school for now, but for most of this year this site has him as a lottery pick? Seriously? If there was ANY chance he would be a lottery pick he would have come out.
I disagree with some other picks like Brice Johnson at #11 (way too high), and Cordinier being a late second rounder (will go in the first), but these differences I can live with. But keeping Tyler Ulis out of the first round is just bizarre at this point. And the Bacon overhype was just too much.

DunksNJordans23ParticipantI’m a homer for Tyler Ulis in so many ways. I currently live in Chicago and a UK alum, so you could say there’s a lot of rooting interest in Ulis in my house. Rooting interest aside, I’ve come from the school of thought that if you can play basketball at a high level there will always be a place for you in the league. This whole Tyler Ulis being 5’9 is no excuse to knock him down, he is a very good player. His shooting percentages are fair but not great because, there was far too many games that he had to “put the team on his back” along with Jamal Murray therefor taking lots of bad shots (mainly too many 3’s). I would love Ulis to come to the Chicago Bulls with their first round pick to solidify the back up PG position and even start when needed.

As far as Brice Johnson, one the lottery happens mocks will find a better spot for him.
