As a huge fan of the Cuse this news is very disappointing.  This is the one player they could not lose.  He will likley go late in the lottery, but could have went even higher next year.

Good for him.  Can’t imagine his draft stock would ever get higher than it is this year.  If he had returned and given scouts more time to pick him apart, I think he’d fall to the end of the 1st round to be honest.

Love what he did for us in his one year here, but I don’t really see him being a productive starter in the NBA.  I think he’ll end up being a solid backup.

It’s a DEEP draft, but at the top 1-5 or 1-10.  10 through 25 is kind of random with a lot of really good players mixed in.  There also aren’t too many point guards, so this should help Tyler Ennis although the league is already loaded with point guards.

If Detroit is at 8 then I think they should look at getting a point guard.  They have the bigs and they have KCP on the wing.  If Tyler Ennis does a fantastic job in his workouts, the Pistons should consider him.

If not, yeah, he could fall to the Hawks at 18.

He was a solid college player, but really has no great NBA level skills. Also wasn’t very good the last month of the season.

Ennis has the skill, poise, and intangibles to compete in any offense at any level. But Im not sure he has the athleticism to keep up with the top NBA guards just yet. He definitely will develop in that department, but an extra year in college would have helped add that athleticism, refine his skills, and raise his draft stock. He’s likely a 7-14 range pick. A team picking in that range could be looking for a big contribution right out of the gate, but Im not sure if his game will translate right away.

  i also had him going as low as the bulls at 16. with derick rose’ knees as well as kirk and dj entering free agency, the bulls arent completely certain with their pg rotation. ennis offers a good combo of either being the third young PG that could be developed or a spot starter due to his maturity on the court.
