take your favorite team and do what you wish they would do with trades and signings. (it can be a little unrealistic too)

I want the thunder to go after Al Jefferson…That would be insane. They could trade away both of their first round picks along with Collison and Kristic. They wouldn’t need the draft picks if they got Jefferson cuz their lineup would be complete…
    1. Westbrook-Livingston
    2. Harden-Weaver
    3. Durant-Sefolosha
    4. Green- Ibaka
    5. Jefferson- Mullens
That’s title material no matter what you say.

aj81- That trade wouldn’t work financially. Also why would you want to get rid of Wright &or Morrow. They are both young & very talented no way would I trade either of those players. Warriors need to trade Jackson & Maggette. Also CJ Watson is no longer with the team.

    Golden State Warrios

    sign Rashad McCants
trade Acie Law to the TWolves for Corey Brewer
trade Turiaf & a 2nd round pick for Tyrus Thomas
trade Jackson & Maggette for trash….basically trade them for expiring contracts to open up cap space for 2010 free agency

    PG- Ellis/Curry
    SG- McCants/Morrow/Brewer
    SF- Randolph/Azubuike/Brewer
    PF- Tyrus/Wright
    C- Biedrins

This team would be real young & stacked with talent. They would also be in great shape financially. Signing a couple more free agents in 2010 would be the next step. The future would look great.

    CURRENT PHILLY STARTERS:

Pg – Lou Williams (Jrue Holiday off bench)
SG – Igoudala (willie Green off bench)
SF – Thaddeus Young (Kapono off bench)
PF – Brand (Smith / Speights off bench)
Center – dalembert (dalembert probably will start with Primo Brezec off bench)

    POSITIONS OF NEED:
PG – Id like them to try and acquire Ronnie Price from Utah, or pick up Jason Williams, assuming his knees are ok for one season.. (J-Will would bring more fans into the bldg)

SG – WE NEED HELP, Iggys not a shooter, probably more suited for the 3 spot, and willie Green is horrible. I would say this is our biggest weakness…Id like them to do anything here, it cant be much worse than WIllie. he has his moments but i hate him more than I like him…

SF – I think were golden here.. Thad / Iggy / Kapono can all play here, and i like this position for us

PF – I think were deep, Speights will be solid, and Smith was playing well b4 he was injured last off-season. Hopefully he bounces back nicely.

C – NEED HELP!!!!!! I REPEAT NEED HELP!!!!! Dalembert hopefully plays like the 07′-08′ version and not the 08′-09′ version. I am not really sure who is even out there, but we need desperate help here.. WIll anyone take on this contract????

we have 4 players we can still sign to max out at 15 players, but in todays economy i only see us carrying 13-14 players tops.. Lets hope stefanskis next two pickups are a PG / SG / C….

dwat- No way the Twolves trade their franchise player in Al Jefferson for two crappy Centers & two draft picks.

aj81- I see where you are coming from. You want to win now & I would rather let the young players develop. Yep Jackson is good definitely…I just want him traded to save cash & allow more playing time for Morrow.

2 top ten picks in a really good draft class is good. Considering they aren’t going any where. I just named those players so the contracts would work. I don’t expect that to happen but thanks for your input.

    The Jazz:
What to do: trade Boozer and Miles to the Bucks for Micheal Redd, then you let Harpring retire, and then Sloan decides to resign as Coach. I like Coach Sloan, but the Jazz need to develop their young players more. Their first round picks should either be backups or starters(start if they are lottery picks) I would hire either Avery Johnson or Mark Jackson as my new coach, and then in the 2010 draft I would do everything I can to get either Monroe (I think Monroe is a future Karl Malone for the Jazz, and would do great with that team)
    Future 2009-2010 lineup
    Okur/Koufous
    Millsap/Fez
    Brewer/AK
    Redd/Korver/Almond
    Dwill/Maynor/Price
With either Amare or Redd, that would be a dangerous team. High scoring of Redd and the improved Millsap, combine that with Okur and the great PG of dwill and we could be very deadly, and we have the Knicks pick in the 2010 draft so we have a good future as well.

    2010-2011
    Okur/Koufous
    Monroe/Millsap
    Brewer/AK
    Redd/ Korver/ Almond
    Dwill/ Maynor/ Price
If this happens come 2011 we could see a championship with 2 or three more coming since Monroe will only get better.

    C Joel Pryzbilla, Greg Oden
    Pf Lamarcus Aldridge, Michael Beasley
Sf NIchalos Batum, Michael Beasley, James Jones.
    Sg Brandon Roy, Rudy Fernandez.
    Pg Andre Miller, Steve Blake,
the salaries match too and they stil would have young players to build around.

Now the topic said a little unrealistic so bare with me

    Atlanta Hawks-

Trade Mo Evans/Zaza and a pick for Marcus Camby….

Slide Horford to the PF, J Smoove to the SF and bring Marvin off the bench

sign either Aaron Gray, Pops Mensah Bonsu and Bobby Jackson and a fillers like Marcus Williams(Spurs/Arizona) and Donyell Marshall

    PG- Bibby/Teague/Jackson
    SG- Johnson/Crawford
    SF- Smith/Williams/Marcus Williams
    PF- Horford/Mensah Bonsu/Marshall
    C- Camby/Gray/Morris

    Portland

Trade Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw to Detroit for Tayshun Prince. Pistons are in rebuild mode, Outlaw is young and given the starter minutes, can be successful. Blake gives them a veteran behind Stuckey and leadership

Trade Martell Webster for Carl Landry and James White

    Sign Juwan Howard

    PG- Miller/Bayless/Mills
    SG- Roy/ Fernandez
    SF- Prince/Batum/White
    PF- Aldridge/Landry/Howard
    C- Oden/Pryzbilla/Pendergraf

i like that for winning now but i think the Blazers should keep their young talent and build around it and hopefully win titles later on you have to have patience if you want to win titles. id much rather trade for a young player than someone older lie Prince.

I like this bird, because we can do whatever we want!

What if Chris Bosh came to the TWolves next summer? I’d love to see Bosh-Jefferson… Bosh is a solid defender to help compensate for Big Al’s most glaring weakness, and he can extend the defense for long 2’s which will help clear space for Big Al… I like those twin towers… And, with KLove off the bench, you have 3 of the best rebounders in the game.

Draft Evan Turner with next year’s Lotto pick… X Henry with the 2nd first rounder

Front court: of Bosh-Jefferson-Turner, with KLove, Gomes, Hollins, and Brewer off the bench
Back court: Ellington-Flynn, with Rubio, X Henry off the bench?

That’s not even that far from being possible…If Bosh can deal with Canada, he can deal with MN… that’d all of a sudden be a very deep squad…

    THOUGHTS?

    Kendrick Perkins

This won’t happen either but trade anyone and everyone on the roster except Amare, Clark and Nash including tons of draft picks to get Dwight…

I know that won’t happen but a frontcourt of Ear Clark, Amare and Dwight would be uncoverable. You wouldn’t be able to double team Dwight or Amare so they would domiante whoever is covering them. Dwight makes up for Amare’s defense. I just think that would be cool, but it isn’t really possible. Maybe J-Rich, Dragic, Lopez, Hill and 1st round picks through 2013.

    If you kept Richardson though…
    Nash
    Richardson
    Clark
    Amare
    Dwight

Looks good and not likely haha.

Ok so first I’d repair Yao Ming forever and bring him back the same or better, there’s my unrealistic part.
If T-Mac comes back the old way then keep him, but if not we let him walk and bring in LeBron James.
Why wouldn’t he come to the 4th Largest City in the Country as well as build his status as a Global Icon since Yao will be right there next to him. The Rockets are built better then the Cavs. Move Ariza to the two as well as Chase Budinger.
    PG – Brooks, Lowry
    SG – Ariza, Budinger
    SF – LeBron, Battier
    PF – Scola, Landry, Hayes
C – Yao Ming, Chris Andersen
BAM! That’s a scary looking team. Defensive Studs in Battier and Ariza and LeBron leading our team with Yao holding it down low, Scola and his sick moves along with Landry throwing down thunderous dunks to get the crowd going, and lastly Brooks driving to the hoop and converting a sick looking layup that impresses us all and the announcer says, “When you are small your whole life you learn how to use that backboard” Budinger is a project so Battier can move to the 2 Guard and guard the other elite players. Hayes will do all the dirty work as usual and Lowry is a tough defender as well. Isn’t that a Championship Team? 😀 but LeBron isn’t looking at us so D-Wade is a nice sign too. Haha.

Ok, my fantasy thing would be
Trade for Rubio. Rubio becomes a Star and our team has the biggest Stars in the NBA outside our country.
    Rubio – Spain
    Yao – China
Then bring in some 2 guard like D. Wade, or a SF? Durant anyone? 🙂
Trade for Pau Gasol to help Rubio transition over and our team can be
    Rubio
    D. Wade
    K.D
    Gasol
    Yao
Our bench….Who needs one with that lineup? Shoot, gimme a retired Moochie Norris, Jalen Rose, and Heck Throw in Skip bayless. 🙂

Trade Kenny Thomas to Utah for Kirilenko
    Draft Donatas Montiejunas
    Sign Udonis Haslem

    PG: Tyreke Evans/Sergio Rodriguez/Beno Udrih
    SG: Kevin Martin/Francisco Garcia
    SF: Andre Kirilenko/Andre Nocioni
    PF: Jason Thompson/Udonis Haslem/John Brockman
    C: Donatas Montiejunas/Spencer Hawes

clearly you aren’t getting KT for his play…. He has a big expiring contract that could open up a lot of $$ for the Jazz in FA for 2010…Plus AK47 has underacheived for a while with that team and is set to make 17 mil in 2010.. About 25M in cap space for the Jazz to play with during free agency. I actually didn’t realize AK was making so much– now that I see how much he is making idk if that is a good idea for the Kings, even though it is only for 2 seasons.

As a Sixers fan, I hesitate when saying I’m willing to give the current roster a try. In the case where the Brand experiment appears to be a total fail, here’s a couple trade scenarios I’d like to see go down.

A trade with the Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats would get Samuel Dalembert and Mardy Collins. The Clippers would get Thaddeus Young, Willie Green, and Nazr Mohammed. The Sixers would get Chris Kaman, Alexis Ajinca and Raja Bell. The Clippers would get a developing player in Young who would push Thornton for the starting job, while also cutting some salary. The Sixers get better quality starting center Kaman, and a solid role player in Bell. Ajinca fills out the roster as a spot minute energy guy. Samuel Dalembert is simply an upgrade over Mohammed for the Bobcats, and the minutes available now that an aging Bell leaves gives youngsters Henderson and Collins opportunities to prove themselves, albeit makes them weak at the 2-guard. The Bobcats will probably re-sign Felton, or maybe even bring in Allen Iverson with minutes now up for grabs.

The other trade is another ground shaker. The move would send Elton Brand to Detroit for Richard Hamilton and Kwame Brown. Brand giving them a defensive presence and high quality low-post scoring. This also creates more minutes for the new acquisition of Ben Gordon. I just have a feeling that the Pistons trying to give Hamilton and Gordon time on the floor will create a challenge since both command a ton of shots, and neither can handle the ball as a lead guard. This gives the Sixers a true 2-guard. This could be a risky move for the Pistons given Brand’s recent health misfortunes, but he has been recently reported to be ready for training camp.

The only issue now is forcing Speights to grow up a bit quicker here, but last year he proved when given opportunities he can really contribute.

    Starters/Backup:
PG: Lou Willaims / Jrue Holiday
SG: Richard Hamilton / Raja Bell
SF: Andre Iguodala / Jason Kapano
PF: Marreese Speights / Jason Smith
C: Chris Kaman / Kwame Brown

Bench/ Inactive: Royal Ivey, Primo Brezec, Alexis Ajinca
