MagikKnickParticipantOk, these are opinion questions…there is no real true answer..but just fun to ask..
If Kenneth Faried was 6’11, He’d be a top 10 pick:
If Isaiah Thomas was 6’1, He’d be 4th PG drafted:
If Jeremy Tyler played his Freshman season in college, he’d be a top 20 pick:
If Marshon Brooks played for a bigger school, but averaged only 5 pts less, he’d be a guaranteed lottery pick:
Same Question, but Jimmer Fredette:
Same Question, but Norris Cole:

Chilbert arenasParticipantTyler could still be a top 20 pick if he showsenough in team workouts.
If Isaiah Thomas was 6’1 he’d be drafted in 2nd round instead of not drafted. I never thought his game would translate to the NBA.
In regards to the Faried question… YES.. in this draft I think he’d easily be a top 10 pick if he played as hard as he does not, but if he was 6’11 he probably wouldn’t have gone to Morehead State and might not play with such a chip on his shoulder.

surveParticipantFareid- true
Thomas- true (Thomas is underated in this draft I believe)
Tyler- true
Brooks- true
Fredette- false (IMO if he plays in the Big East like Walker, he averages about 10 pts less)
Cole- false

M-DYMESParticipantIf Kenneth Faried was 6’11, He’d be a top 10 pick: True, especially in this draft. His defensive prowess, combined with that size would be coveted.
If Isaiah Thomas was 6’1, He’d be 4th PG drafted: 1. Kyrie 2. Knight/Kemba 3. Knight/Kemba 4. Lots of other guys I’d take before Isiah (specifically naming one…Malcolm Lee *his size is too great and UCLA has produced PGs lately). I love his heart though and even if he doesn’t get much PT, I’d love to have him be part of my team.
If Jeremy Tyler played his Freshman season in college, he’d be a top 20 pick: Not if he played the same way he did in Euroball. But, personally, I think he’s a border line top 20 pick right now regardless. To much potential/size to pass up 20x in this draft imo.
If Marshon Brooks played for a bigger school, but averaged only 5 pts less, he’d be a guaranteed lottery pick: I think his measurables are what is pushing him into Lotto territory, not necessarily his stats. IMO, given the lack of talent at SG in the league and his scoring ability/length…highly possible.
Same Question, but Jimmer Fredette: Nope, you gotta play D in the NBA and I don’t see it from Jimmer.
Same Question, but Norris Cole: I still don’t think he goes in the lotto given that scenario.

B FreeParticipantThe Thomas question I dont agree with because thats like saying if Earl Boykins was taller he would have been an all star, his game would be totally different he would be a completely different player.
