BBall4life88ParticipantWin or lose, Dirk should win MVP of the NBA Finals. Win-Yes, Lose-No(Wade), False
Heat defense is the biggest problem, not LeBron James. False, their defense has been great. LeBron has been absent in the 4th quarter, and went mising in an entire game.
If Terry doesn’t score more than 15pts, Mavs lose game 6. False, Not necessarily. He could score 14, and they could have other guys like Barrea, Marion, Kidd step up…Mavs are very deep.
Erik Spoesltra is being outcoached by Rick Carlisle. Probably, True. Spoesltra isn’t doing a bad job though, it’s tough when your superstar mentally checks out, not much he can do about that.
LeBron James will fail to score 20 points in game 6. False, but I wouldn’t put any $ on it.
Dirk will score 30+ pts in game 6. False, He’ll be close, I say 28.
If the Miami Heat do not win the NBA Championship, this season is a disappointment. True, Given they’ve gotten this far, beating Boston and Chicago and being favorites going into the Finals…it was all set up for them to win this year.
Dwyane Wade will outscore Dirk in game 6. False, Dirk – 28, Wade – 26
Miami wins game 6. True, they’re due to close a game at some point, unless they’re actually that bad in the 4th quarter.
You would rather have Mike Miller shooting the last second shot rather than James. Tough one….If it’s an open look, yes Mike Miller, if contested or off the dribble i’ll still take LeBron.
Jason Terry is outplaying LeBron. True. Terry more clutch, bigger in the 4th quarter…JET came through when they needed him to, LeBron didn’t.
Tyson Chandler will resign with the Mavs. True, He seems like a smart, loyal guy.
Mavericks reach Conf. Finals next season. True, well coached team. Dirk is still good for a couple more years…and Terry. They don’t look old at all in this series.
Caron Butler would have ruined the Mav’s mojo. True, it seems to always happen. Probably a blessing in disguise.
Bosh outscores James in game 6. False, Very close though.
LeBron chokes in game 7 (if nes.), False, I think if he has the chance he’ll hit the game winner in game 7. I’m an optimist at heart, I’ll give him one more chance to prove the doubters wrong.

IndianaBasketballParticipantWin or lose, Dirk should win MVP of the NBA Finals. – False. IF Miami wins, D. Wade is the MVP.
Heat defense is the biggest problem, not LeBron James. – False. You can’t blame LeBron for the Heat giving up so many points, but LeBron is the biggest problem. He’s the best player in the world and has only scored two points combined in the fourth quarter of the last two games. That’s pathetic. Even when Wade left the game, he still didn’t take over. He’s played passive and hasn’t attacked.
If Terry doesn’t score more than 15pts, Mavs lose game 6. – False. He just needs to score at least 8 points in the fourth quarter lol. Dallas has won every game he’s done that.
Erik Spoesltra is being outcoached by Rick Carlisle. – True. You have to give Carlisle credit for the adjustments he’s made, which is something he’s been great at throughout the playoffs. The decision to put Barea in the starting lineup was crucial. I also like that he’s playing Cardinal.
LeBron James will fail to score 20 points in game 6. – True. I think he’ll come just shy. It’s clear from watching LeBron and listening to him during the post game press conferences, that he isn’t looking to force the issue offensively. He’s been talking about "taking what the defense gives him, making the right plays, etc". He’s not getting to the line. He’s lost confidence in his jumpshot. His legs look tired… He’s struggling to beat players off of the dribble.
Dirk will score 30+ pts in game 6. – False. I think he’ll be just shy of 30.
If the Miami Heat do not win the NBA Championship, this season is a disappointment. – YES. They were put together to win a championship, not just come close. And especially after they talked all of that stuff during that celebration rally during free-agency.
Dwyane Wade will outscore Dirk in game 6. – False. It’ll be close though.
Miami wins game 6. – False. I think Dallas closes them out in another nail biter. Dallas’ key role players have gotten going and all of these games have been close… Dallas being the better team when it comes to closing out a game.
You would rather have Mike Miller shooting the last second shot rather than James. – True. I want the ball in LeBron’s hands, but I want him passing it to Miller. Miller is a better shooter. IF it’s shooting the ball off of the dribble though, I want LeBron.
Jason Terry is outplaying LeBron. – False, but this shouldn’t even be a question. I mean, LeBron James vs Jason Terry? That in itself is a problem. Terry has outplayed LeBron as a scorer in the a few fourth quarters.
Tyson Chandler will resign with the Mavs. – True. Cuban will throw big money at him.
Mavericks reach Conf. Finals next season. – True. I think this team has another great run in them. They’ve improved at the defensive end and Dirk is playing as well as ever. Chandler gives this team something they’ve never had. Great to see him healthy and it all started this summer with Team USA.
Caron Butler would have ruined the Mav’s mojo. – False. He’d have just given Dallas another weapon, who can also create on his own. Plus I like his size at the defense end.
Bosh outscores James in game 6. – True. LeBron isn’t looking to score. He’s looking to make the right plays, etc. Due to that mentality, I think Bosh will outscore him by a little.
LeBron chokes in game 7 (if nes.) – N/A. I don’t think the Heat are making it to game seven.

Scottoant93ParticipantWin or lose, Dirk should win MVP of the NBA Finals. No d.wade is mvp for heat if they win he’s carrying the heat right now
Heat defense is the biggest problem, not LeBron James. No Haslem is playing some good defense on dirk, hes just knockin them down, the heat biggest problem is they have no answer for the zone and collapse in the 4th, Lebron is a problem bu not why they’re losing.
If Terry doesn’t score more than 15pts, Mavs lose game 6. No if he continues to be agressive they will win, that way he can setup his teammates, he will scores 15 plus though i think
Erik Spoesltra is being outcoached by Rick Carlisle. Tru, Eric Spoesltra has failed to make the proper adjustments to take this series, but itsa not his fault lebron has lost his confidence
LeBron James will fail to score 20 points in game 6. True I see him in the 16-18 range with a couple of assists and rebounds, what matters is his 4th quarter
Dirk will score 30+ pts in game 6. False i see him scoring about 25
If the Miami Heat do not win the NBA Championship, this season is a disappointment. Yes, just because of allthe drama they created, and thier comments
Dwyane Wade will outscore Dirk in game 6. yeah I see him going for 26+
Miami wins game 6. I said this series goes 7 but how dallas has been playing I think they finish them in 6
You would rather have Mike Miller shooting the last second shot rather than James. If its a catch and shoot shot yes, if not no
Jason Terry is outplaying LeBron. Yes Jet has been huge for the mavs in the clutch as lebron has dissappeared
Tyson Chandler will resign with the Mavs. Yes I believe so, hes playing good and he is on a contender
Mavericks reach Conf. Finals next season. mmmm…. Maybe depends who retires, whos coming back, but they have a good chance
Caron Butler would have ruined the Mav’s mojo. No I believe they could have used him and his scoring ability which was lacking, and all sudden caught fire
Bosh outscores James in game 6. True Bosh has been good on offense he will score more then 20 next game
LeBron chokes in game 7 (if nes.) Well i dont believe theyre will be a game 7 how itas going but, if there is then i think yeah, Game 7(if it happens) will define what lebron truly is and can stop all this talk about him choking but if he chokes he will stop it until next finals

mikeyvthedonParticipantTrue or False
Win or lose, Dirk should win MVP of the NBA Finals.
False. He should 100% win if they win the chip. If not, than look for it to be Dwyane Wade, or if LeBron really gets his act together, he may have a crack at it. Has to be bananas, but their is a sliver of a chance.
Heat defense is the biggest problem, not LeBron James.
False. The Heat’s defense has been amazing up until last night. Dallas was shooting a terrible percentage, and held under 100 points for 4 games, that is impressive. LeBron not stepping up is much more of a problem than the defense, their are other things ahead of it on the list of problems as well. Miami had a poor defensive game, but it was not like Dallas was much better last game either. Miami needs to stop these scoring droughts, and LeBron James needs to be MUCH mor involved in that.
If Terry doesn’t score more than 15pts, Mavs lose game 6.
False. I think he could score less and they still win the game. Stopping Jason Terry is not as important as making sure role players do not score in bunches, and Barea killed them in Game 5. Jason Terry averages around 17 ppg, so the Mavericks obviously would hope he scores over 15, but I think the key is not so much limiting only the play of the stars, but of guys such as Shawn Marion, JJ Barea and Tyson Chandler even Jason Kidd from doing what they have been doing, at least the last three did in Game 5. So, I would think Jason Terry could score big and they lose, or score 12-15 and they win. You expect Dirk and Terry to score, but you have to limit the other guys production, that is incredibly important.
Erik Spoesltra is being outcoached by Rick Carlisle.
True. I would not say that Spoelstra is doing a terrible job, and I do not think it is like "Rick is taking him to school", though you wonder why in the hell Mike Bibby has been playing the minutes he has with no offensive or defensive production, whereas Rick realized Peja was going to be a weakness and made adjustments. Bibby had been running the team fairly well, and it is hard to tinker with that in a key area. Carlisle has been better at doing that, but I still give Spoelstra credit as the Heat are in this series and I think people were underestimating how challenging this team would be to go up against. They are a great team with a ton of weapons, and Miami is at times somewhat limited in that department. The end of games is when that comes out. Spoelstra has made some questionable calls, but the Heat have been in every game, and I think that the players need to be much more aggressive at the end of the game, and I do not place that blame on the Spoelstra.
LeBron James will fail to score 20 points in game 6.
False. I really hope so, because he scored 20 in both games in Miami. Dallas just had a game that balanced their poor three point shooting averages, I figure LeBron will have a game that balances his far below average scoring for him up until this point.
Dirk will score 30+ pts in game 6
False. Think Miami will try to let other players beat them and do a bang up job covering Dirk. They have been for the most part, so I do not expect Dirk to go crazy in this game. He has not really needed too, after all, and he could go for less and his team could still take the game. Just have a feeling Dirk stays under 30.
If the Miami Heat do not win the NBA Championship, this season is a disappointment.
True. Has to be. They made this team to win championships. Yes, this is their first year together, and their window of opportunity looks fairly wide open, but to come this close and not win it would be a major let down. Especially for LeBron James, who has all of the pressure in the world to be great and all of the talent to do so. People questioning your mindset and even your ability, has to be a tremendous blow, and the pressure adds up after every year without a ring.
Dwyane Wade will outscore Dirk in game 6.
True, I predicted he would, and I feel he and LeBron need to be their aggressive selves, attack the defense and try to pick up fouls on Tyson Chandler throughout the game. I expect a lot of energy on behalf of both players and for them to move a lot more without the ball. Can you imagine how dangerous Dwyane Wade would be moving as much without the ball as a Jason Terry or Ray Allen? He is not the same type of shooter, but I would rather have him taking mid range shots than LeBron, think it suits him more and that he would excel doing this.
Miami wins game 6.
True. Really, it is a hope more than anything. It is incredibly hard to predict these things and what will happen, but Miami has always been either hanging around or in front most of the series, and even when Dallas manages to be firing on all cylinders, they have a difficult time pulling away. Miami has been fantastic on their home court during these play-offs, and while Game 2 was crushing, they came back and took Game 3. They lost these past two, but they were always in those games until the bitter end, and I expect to see more fire on their part than on Dallas’. Just a feeling, but Miami probably has more energy of the two, hope they show it.
You would rather have Mike Miller shooting the last second shot rather than James.
False. Really depends on the situation, but I want LeBron shooting more at the end of the game. If he can get Mike Miller an open look, awesome, but I want LeBron James attacking the basket or doing whatever he can to get makeable shots. He can and has done it before, he needs to be his most aggressive at the end of these games. I would rather LeBron shoot more than any player on the team, call me crazy, but I think that the Heat are the most dangerous when LeBron is on the attack.
Jason Terry is outplaying LeBron.
False. Ridiculous. Either one. He had a nice past couple games, but before that he was a non-factor in the clutch thanks to LeBron. LeBron has not played nearly as badly as people seem to think, at least not to the point where you can seriously say anyone other than Dirk Nowitzki or Dwyane Wade are truly outplaying him. Next.
Tyson Chandler will resign with the Mavs.
True. Think he has too, he has fit in incredibly well, and why would he want to jinx it and move somewhere else? Cuban will make signing him a priority, he has made this team relevant on defense, even much more so than when Avery Johnson was coaching them and they had a glaring weakness in the middle.
Mavericks reach Conf. Finals next season.
False. They easily could, but I have a feeling other teams will make moves to catch-up with them, and age tends to fade. Also have a feeling that while they could indeed do it next year, that this teams best chance at winning a championship is in Miami this Sunday. They do not do it than, I do not think it happens.
Caron Butler would have ruined the Mav’s mojo.
True. It honestly depends when he came back, but if you are talking about for the Finals, true. If you are talking about in general, than I think that is probably false. Caron Butler would have made them even more dangerous, he is a great player and while he may have changed their dynamic slightly, I think having his scoring ability would have only helped. He plays incredibly hard and is still all in all Dallas’ second best player. I just look at Jameer Nelson coming back in the Finals a few years ago though, and he threw everything completely off. Haslem worked his way back in over time, but he also plays a very different role. I honestly would have been cool with Miami maybe trying to bring Wade back into the game more gradually than they did, as I think he changes the dynamic of the team as well. I think it would have gotten LeBron much more in rhythym, not to mention they had built a little lead. Of course you want Dwyane Wade playing more than anyone else at SG, but rhythym and chemistry is a real thing, and if you break it than bad things tend to happen.
Bosh outscores James in game 6.
False. It is all well and good when Chrish Bosh has a big scoring game, but give me LeBron over him in that department and I give you a better Heat team. Truly hope this does not happen, because if it does I think the Heat lose the Finals.
LeBron chokes in game 7 (if nec.)
False. LeBron has played 2 Game 7’s in his career. One was against the Pistons his first year in the play-offs, and he scored 27 points and the other was against the eventual champion Celtics where he scored 45. Both were in a losing effort and in situations where it was pretty much amazing that they had gone to a Game 7 in the first place. This would not be such a case. To close series, LeBron has tended to go down shooting, and when he does that he has usually not had the worst games of his career. LeBron said when they were up 2-1 that he felt like he had his back against the wall, but I do not even think he believed it. Now he really does, and I do not see him backing down from the challenge. Call me crazy, but I think that he comes through in the next couple games, especially if they get to a Game 7.
