Ghost01ParticipantI hate when hes on ESPN.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHe was a bad / average quarterback that just happened to be on the best defensive team in the league, that’s the only reason he has that ring.

PlatypusParticipanthe’s a good back up, thats it

NYK2010ParticipantMost of ESPN NFL Analysts a few exceptions, Steve Young is pretty good.

NYK2010ParticipantMost espn nfl reporters aren’t that good.
Dilfer was def. an avg. QB just lucky to play on a team with great defense and a solid running game.

OMARtheLEGENDParticipantAll i know is John Gruden in the booth for monday night football is legendary. The man is a god.

T-Wolvesfan13ParticipantIs overrated as well. He won a Superbowl with a team that Tony Dungy built. He was called great because he won with a other guys team. He is a good coach. But nothing more then that.

Ghost01ParticipantThe difference with Dilfer/Young is they both talk smack about all the QBs but one of them was actually better than these QBs. Dilfer blew and hes trying to talk about how Manning is making mistakes…no shyt. But unlike you hes actually good.
NFL Network owns ESPN for football coverage. I like ESPNs non Jalen Rose basketball coverage, thats about it.

apb540ParticipantI am a huge fan of his stance on the helmet to helmet

andxxxParticipantTom Jackson and boomer are good though herm edwards gets annoying
0 - Posted on: Mon, 12/06/2010 - 2:27pm #453846

Ghost01Participantmy favorite though has to be tim hasselbeck. While not as annoying as Dilfer, this dude couldnt even see the field and he acts like he was a legend or something. Ditka is awesome but hes just on the countdown shows. Those dont annoy me. Its the daily dosages of Dilfer and Schlareth that do.

JNixonParticipantI’m just glad that Tony Cornheiser doesn’t do MNF anymore…..He made my head hurt.

McDunkinAwww man Nixon…you just earned your official "OJJ Throwin Salt Club" membership card.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 12/06/2010 - 7:19pm #454056

Ghost01ParticipantCome on, Kornheiser was great. lol.
Gruden isnt annoying because he doesnt do the cocky hating that some of these benchwarming, has-been clowns do, but hes almost the opposite.
Hes so enthusiastic that EVERYONE is the BEST HES EVER SEEN at this and THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE at that, and this guy could PLAY FOR ME ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

PureshooterParticipantDilfer isn’t that bad. If he wasn’t critical of QBs he wouldn’t have a job. When he was talking about Brady tonight he mentioned that he didn’t know how he played so well because he himself was never a great player. Seems pretty level headed.
I’ve never understood why you have to have been great to judge people’s performance. You just have to know what you’re talking about. The guy I can’t stand is Matt Millen. Get him the f*ck out of there.

PlatypusParticipanti agree, millen screws the lions up and now he’s doing it to mnf

Ghost01ParticipantDilfer isnt level headed at all. He has always been a hater. Ofcourse he isnt going to fool anybody into thinking he was better than Tom Brady, fact it, he wasnt better than most of the starters in the NFL. Hes also on TV way too much. Like everyday i have to hear him talk about stuff. In the MNF postgame coverage, he repeated the same sentence about the "mixture of weapons and brady’s ability to find all of them" about 11 times. Steve Young, on the other hand actually gave some insight.

SteroidParticipantHow can you say Gruden is overrated and he just won with someone else’s players? Obviously he has to know what he is doing to some degree, and winning a superbowl just doesn’t happen like that. As we all should know by now, having a competent coach matters a lot in winning in professional sports especially in the NFL becasue there is a thin line between winning and losing. That is why in the NFL, a team with a losing record the past year could end up in the superbowl the next year. This isn’t college where you can slap together a couple of blue chip prospects and win solely because of talent. Everyone is talented in professional sports, and what seperates the good teams from the bad in the NFL is mostly the staff the team is available to. I mean the Cowboys are a prime example of this. Arguably the most talented team on paper, but look what they have to show for it.
