Da1potParticipantNot bad, but if I’m the Clippers even though I’m trying to get rid of Kaman, I still want more for him than just Zaza and Marvin Williams. Interesting how it projects Atlanta to be five game worse even though I think they get the better end of the deal…….

tli232do trade ideas even matter at all when there’s no season to be played? For all we know, some of these guys will show up out of shape and be shells of the players they once were. It’s all a crapshoot at this point

iguapops420ParticipantNo way would LAC give Kaman up just for Marvin Williams and Zaza, especially seeing as though Aminu is quite similar to Marvin on a much cheaper deal. The Clips are looking to use Kaman to go after guys like Iggy and Granger perhaps using the Minny pick as the main cherry on top. Marvin is a good player but he’s not nearly a good enough fit for Kamn and wouldn’t bring enough impact to the team to justify the contract.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantGerald wallace played too good in the trailblazers system, it would be absurd if they trade him.

KHAM83ParticipantPortland isn’t moving Gerrard Wallace, period.
I think Kaman for Smith straight up would be suffice. I don’t think Kaman for igoudala is happening, so take a next high flyer in Josh Smith.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/09/2011 - 7:28pm #567403

BigDParticipantYeah, i think a Kaman straight up for Smith or something along those lines would make more sense, it would also give the Clippers flexibility to run small with a Griffin/Smith/Aminu frontcourt. If this was to go down that would be one athletic team with Jordan, Griffin, Smith, Aminu, Gordan, now they would just need a decent PG to come down, Chris Paul for thoughts??

HitsterParticipantI just don’t see Portland trading Crash Wallace after they gave up picks to get him and probably see him, Felton and LMA as their core with whatever Oden and Roy can provide in support alongside their other role players. Although the idea is good and Josh Smith and LMA could alternate between 3 and 4 perhaps. Marvin Williams is probably the player that Atlanta would like to move but even for an injury prone player like Kamn, I wonder if the Clippers would want to take on Marvin’s contract as they have Aminu as their potential long term 3.
