OKC is aggressively shopping Eric Maynor.

The Suns are looking to move Telfair to make more room for rookie Kendall Marshal.

Toronto isn’t sold on John Lucas as their back up PG so,they are looking for one.

Washington has told Atlanta that they are willing to give up any player, except Wall, Beal, or Okafor, to get Josh Smith.

I feel really bad for Maynor, he was playing brilliantly before that knee injury, and I hoped that with Harden gone he’d take over as playmaker off the bench and get some run, but he never really got settled in which is unfortunate, because he’s a very solid backup PG.

Just so everyone knows, it should say Nene instead of Okafor. It was very late when I posted this. Sorry.

I feel like he would fit with the Spurs, solid player who takes care of the ball. They don’t really have any playmakers off the bench.

A team like Miami or the lakers could make a run for him, both need a legit backup point guard

Nick Young has been playing very well for the Sixers since entering the starting lineup. I don’t see why they would trade him for a back up PG…especially when PG is their strongest position with Jrue Holiday. The Sixers also signed Jeremy Pargo for the rest of the season to be the backup PG and he has looked good as well.

So the Wizards trade Nene and a top 5 pick possibly #1 overall for Josh Smith who would be likely not to resign in Washington? That doesn’t seem like a sound trade for the Wizards.

Portland seems like a good place for Telfair, he’ll be the backup behind Lillard immediately since their only alternatives on the roster are Ronnie Price and Nolan Smith, both of whom are doing pretty terribly this year. He’d be a good fit since he can put up a few points, I think he finished last season off pretty well if I remember correctly…

Maybe Portland could get him for a second-rounder and Nolan Smith/Ronnie Price? Neither of them would take minutes from Marshall.

Why would Washington not be willing to include Okafor in a trade? His contract runs contract until 2014, and is earning next year around $14,5 million, which is way to much for a production of 9.1 ppt & 8.7 rpg. I would rather keep Nene (who should increase his production being finally healthy) than Okafor if I was the Wizards.

They should keep Okafor hes been an absolute beast lately, his numbers dont reflect how good he really has been, due to the Wizards pathetic start where they had a new starting line up everygame.

I also would want to see this washington squad next season when they’re all healthy and able to build chemistry from this year. Since Wall and Nene came back, things have really been jelling for them. Beal played the best ball of his short career when they returned and martell has found a comfort zone with his role on the team. they have also shown good rotation with role players. and more than anything, they have playing very good defense. and a big part of that is their front court of emeka and nene. they are my dark horse team to have a strong second half to the season even though the play-offs is out of their reach

Why on Earth would Washington not want to trade Nene and that horrible contract?
