Mr.Knick 32ParticipantDraftExpress
Trade rumor making the rounds: Minnesota trades Al Jefferson and the #16th pick for Zach Randolph and #12th. Money saver for Minnesota.

severinParticipantmemphis gets a steal if that’s the case. Al, Rudy, Mayo, Conley, Gasol=playoffs.

delfamParticipantI think it’s a good move, Minnesota would clear cap space to sign a free agent for when Rubio comes over. I guess they would also draft Cousins or Favors to pair with Love.
For Memphis, they have a great frontcourt with Jefferson and Gasol and could still draft Bledsoe at #16.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYou really believe Rubio will play for Minnesota?

esperanzafleet69Participantwhy on earth would minny ever trade for pablo escabar..
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/23/2010 - 10:37am #338704

delfamParticipantI guess their thinking is that there so bad this year that no free agent is going to sign there, so why not clear cap space for the year after and pair him with Rubio. No signs point to Rubio not wanting to play there so I see him playing there.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantDid you see that 30 for 30? Absolutely amazing.

jeff416ParticipantI think thats a bad trade for Memphis. Randolph is a allstar PF with a huge expiring contract they shouldn’t have to include the 12th pick. It would make more sense if the trade was Z-Bo, 25th, and 28th for Jefferson and 16th.

SwatLakeCityParticipantHorrible trade for Minny. Randolph and Love is just as bad as Jefferson and Love. Minny does this just so they get Paul George, but what they dont realize is that the Hornets are likely to take him 1 pick earlier. Minny is once again left out in the cold just like they will be when Nets pick Johnson 3rd overall.
Grizzlies are suddenly a playoff team with Jefferson.
Is this a done deal?0- Posted on: Wed, 06/23/2010 - 11:20am #338742
T-WOLF FANParticipantIs this trade a done deal ???
Why trade Jefferson?? He was the only decent pick-up out of that KG trade…If I’m not mistaken the only player left from that KG deal is Ryan Gomes… woohoo!!!
I just don’t get the T-wolves management… They always seem to disappoint me as a fan.. I guess I need to find a new team to cheer for…0

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipant0 percent chance of it going through. It makes no sense for either team to make the deal. Both Jefferson and Randolph have some baggage, but in their current cities have built up some equity with their play. On a new team, they are just another troubled newcomer. Also, the difference between 12 and 16 is nothing until the first eleven picks are taken. Remember when the Wizards dealt their pick for vets when Rubio would have fallen into their laps. I hope teams learned a lesson from that one.

NorthernLights666Participant@knicksboy32, do you really see Lebron going to New York? Yeah right, enjoy giving Joe Johnson the max.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOh, your mad about the Rubio comment. Let me make you feel better.
THERE IS NO WAY RUBIO IS GOING TO PLAY IN MINNESOTA. HE WILL BE MOVED TO A TEAM HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO PLAY FOR
