Dc773ParticipantChicago Bulls: Sessions, R.Anderson, 23rd pick (of 2010)
Sessions is commonly said to be one of the league’s most efficient backups at PG. His role, which is inevitable, consist of stability behind Rose.Anderson is quite different, as there’s great probability in adding him to a core of Rose and Noah, all aging under 25, will serve sound upside.
The 23rd pick may not shed another Gibson but it’s worth a try with roster openings.
Strengths: IQ and shot-selection.
Downside: Digression in leadership.Minnesota Timberwolves: Carter, 17th pick (of 2010)
With Carter appearing to have lost a step, assuming a veteran-role in Minnesota, which hasn’t been addressed since KG left, likely impacts your Kevin Love, Johnny Flynn, and possibly Evan Turner or Wesley Johnson. And by moving Sessions three-year-deal, this conceivably makes Rubio more incline to come over with lesser competition up-to-date.Wolves also move up six spots, embedding another pick behind their 4th and 16th selections.
Strengths: Opportunity for balance.
Downside: Jefferson’s outside chance of efficiency.Orlando Magic: Jefferson, Hinrich
Jefferson hasn’t had the fortune of playing alongside that defining star for a period of time, and with him already nearing prime, pairing him in a 1-4 set with Nelson and Howard might restore what many of expect: textbook moves and the NBA’s front-court team.Hinrich, dueled with Nelson, might couple a lot of under-the-radar tabs but afforded the right time and place, say playoffs, they may go noticed.
Strengths: Scoring options at the 4 and 5.
Downside: Carter’s input on the perimeter.0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/15/2010 - 1:37pm #332885

Raef LaFrentzParticipantYou’ve done your homework here, DC773. This trade fills a lot of holes for the teams involved: Orlando gets a PF which they obviously are in desperate need of. Chicago gets younger and deeper, while also getting rid of Kirk, whom they have been trying to deal for some time now. Minny get’s a veteran scorer who can (hopefully) be a consistent target for Flynn and provide some advice to young wing players like Brewer and Ellington. Also, this gives Minnesota an opening at the center position, which could lead to them selecting Cousins if he were to fall to them.
Pretty interesting and well though out trade, DC773. Nice work.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantKahn isn’t going to trade for an old ass dude… that’s like the first criterion for a David Kahn trade- it has to get the wolves a Young talent. Unless Vince is an expiring… but even then, I don’t think Kahn would pull the trigger on that deal.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantI’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. the two most likely trades involving Jefferson are:
Jefferson for Deng + Gibson?
or 3 way if PHilly takes Turner.
Iggy to MN
Jefferson to Team X
Team X expiring contract + picks to Philly0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/15/2010 - 1:58pm #332901
