I want this forum topic to be all about trades. Post trades below and lets see what a good trade is.

    My trade idea:

    Eric Gordon and quincy pondexter

    for

    Rudy Gay and marco belinelli

not worth it at all rudy is worth too much to sacto and while eric gordon could help provide them with outside shooting and scoring, hes just too inconsistent and injury prone since his outbursts with the clippers to be worth that much value

As for a trade that i would try how about

New Orleans receives: Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic

Minnesota receives: Eric Gordon and ryan anderson.

I believe that this works for both sides as clears multi year deals for minnesota and also alleviates the logjam at certain positions and brings in expring contracts so that they could potentially attract a big name free agent (not saying its gonna happen just saying that that would be a promising place to sign with with that young core) and it also gives them a floor spacer around KAT (If they choose to keep anderson) while eric gordon might get his second chance that hes been looking for in minny.

This works as well for NOLA as something just isnt working and they need change and this brings in kevin martin who is a smart, veteran scorer who can create his own shot (witnessed by when he used to average 24ppg back with sacto) and once pek is back healthy he could be additional anthony davis insurance as another big body to help alleviate all the banging and bruising down low.

    THE CHICAGO BULLS MUST REBUILD!

    1) Taj Gibson, Tony Snell, & a deep dish pizza for Carmelo Anthony

    2) Derrick Rose for a time machine and a 2nd round pick

    3) Fallout 4 and an internship at MMA for the rights to Dario Saric

    4) Noah, Captain Kirk, and 2 tickets to the Adele concert next year for Marc Gasol

I don’t think it’s a good trade by any means, but I don’t think it’s a terrible concept. Neither player is durable: Rudy Gay hasn’t played more than 68 games since the 2011-12 lockout season (Gay was rather durable early in his career as a side not), and Eric Gordon has never even played 68 games while playing in his 8th NBA season.

Each player would help the other team more than their own. I don’t deny that Rudy is a solid starting SF, but it’s not like he’s won anything for the Kings, or anyone else for that matter. Their best bet for the future is clearly to develop D-Cuz (mentally and physically) into a consistent superstar, which he isn’t far from. I’d much rather surround him with some dead-eye shooters; when he’s on the floor I’d classify Eric Gordon as that. Although his % is down this current season I would imagine a regression toward the mean. Plus his contract is

With that all said I’ll throw a mock trade out there:

    Kings: Eric Gordon, Robert Covington

    Pelicans: Rudy Gay

76ers: 2016 1st Rd Pick let’s say top 12 protected this year and top 8 next (via Pelicans)

PAHAHHAHAHA. Yea, Philly gets a lottery pick and more cap space for Robert Covington???? Yea breh not gonna happen.

And No way Sacramento trades Rudy Gay for Eric Gordon. Gordon is even more injury prone plus hes not as good as Gay.

Houston tries to fx itself, Phoenix rids itself of it’s problem child and Milwaukee tries to boost it’s stagnant team by buying low.

Houston trades Lawson and Jones for Morris and Vasquez (Lawson isn’t working and Jones is the trade chip. They think Morris will fit better. Vasquez is a big point guard who doesn’t need the ball in his hands all the time).

Phoenix trades Morris and Goodwin for Jones and Mayo (get rid of the big salary for a younger player with potential and an expiring contract).

Milwaukee trades Mayo and Vasquez for Lawson and Goodwin (trading expiring contracts of players who aren’t in their future plans for players who have underplayed or got delegated to the bench. Buying low on Lawson in my mind).

I hate fantasy trades (i.e. trades that are a fantasy, not fantasy basketball trades) and their threads, so boo in general, but props for trying to keep them all to one thread.
