BogDon_KryptParticipantLet’s pretend this is before the trade deadline –
Heat get: Nate Robinson, Lance Stephenson, Ian Mahinmi, Pacer’s Future First Round Pick (top 5 protected)
Pacers get: Dwayne Wade
Denver gets: C.J. Watson, Solomon Hill, Pacer’s first round pick for 2014
Heat can let Lebron be the true leader of the team without Wade being disgruntled. Stephenson replaces Wade as a younger player for Miami’s future. Get a starting center in Mahinmi so Bosh can mover to natural power forward position. Nate Robinson can add scoring from the bench.
Denver gets younger team and a first rounder to start rebuilding
Pacer’s get scorer they need to push them over the hump. PG is now second scorer and has less pressure. Allow DWade to be the man of the team.

wrectorParticipantIs Denver really getting all that for Nate Robinson or am I missing something?
Pacers are giving up A LOT for a declining D-Wade. I think if they were in win now mode it wouldn’t be too bad but they are young and time is most definitely on their side. This trade also requires the Heat to cut 2 players, and it f-cks with their chemistry and play style big time. Denver probably has a smile on their face though lmao.

druneave3ParticipantYea….. and 90’s Bulls should have traded Pippen to Knicks, the Lakers move Shaq to Sacramento, David Robinson to Portland, and other moves that would move a HOF to competition in your own division that would give them a chance to beat you.
And in return you get role players and a late first round pick?

juves4783Participantthis trade is horrible.
on a per team basis:
pacers trade lance stephenson, ian mahinmi, cj watson, solomon hill and (2) 1st rounders for dwayne wade.
then heat trade cj watson, solomon hill and one of the 1st round picks for nate robinson.
that’s way too much to give for dwayne wade and nate robinson.

King CaluchaParticipantI say this often in thread about trades… but this may be one of the worst ideas I’ve ever seen. I feel guilty for having lost some seconds of my life reading this lol

BlueLacesParticipantLeBron is the true leader of the Heat. It’s been that way since day 1 and Wade has yet to get disgruntled.

CynthiaParticipantWhat made me giggle the most was "Stephenson replaces Wade as a younger player for Miami’s future"
Heat only build to win now, not in the future.
