BogDon_KryptParticipantLakers Gets: Brandon Jennings, 2015 Detroit 1st Round Pick
Toronto Gets: Pau Gasol
Detroit Gets: Rudy Gay
Lakers get PG for when Nash retires and formidable backcourt with Jennings Bryant. Also will get a first round pick to start building for the future.
Raptors get veteran leader with championship experience. Good frontcourt with him at C and Valanciunas at PF.
Detroit will be slighly log jammed downlow with Gay at SF, Smith at PF, Monroe at PF, and Drummond at C, but I think they can then trade Monroe who is going to demand a max contact. They can trade him for a PG and then will now have scorer in Gay.
Works for all teams in my opinion

Chilbert arenasParticipantI mean this would never happen for so many reasons, but if you have been watching either team this year, or even the game last night, you would know the Lakers are much better off with Blake running the point than Jennings, and Pistons wouldn’t give up that first rounder.

Moon RiverParticipantI do not want to see Brandon Jennings in a Laker uniform.

BogDon_KryptParticipantBrandon Jennings hasn’t had enough time to gel with the Pistons lineup and will improve. But can you imagine him working with Kobe who has an insane work ethic. The kid is talented, just needs the right leadership.

machu46ParticipantYeah, lmao at the Pistons giving up Jennings and a 1st for Gay. Not a chance in hell.
And I’m not even that high on Jennings lol.

esperanzafleet69Participanthonestly, i think the pistons are doing the right thing by not extending monroe. letting the market determine his value is well worth it.. worst thing that happens is he’s offered the max and the pistons match it, which is still a great move. best case scenario, a team offers him his real worth. which isn’t the max, but close to it.
either way, i think the pistons like monroe, and have him in their plans long term. they are just letting the market decide his value, thats all.
