The Splash DocParticipantChicago gets- Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh
Golden State get- Ronnie Brewer, Taj Gibson and a protected 1st
I Know Monta has been playin out of this world but he still isnt the answer at the 2 out West for GSW. Brewer would flourish in the system and also provide a defensive stopper at th 2/3 spot. Gibson is a great throw in and the 1st is guaranteed to make it work.
Monta for the Bulls would give them a go to scorer, I know he isnt a defensive guru but he is and offensive assassin. Bogans is a great defender and Deng isnt bad. Ellis could also be the 6th man and just finish games. The Bulls should also sign Earl Barron he would fill the void left by Gibson especially with Boozer coming back.
Frontcourt- Boozer-Noah-Deng-Asik-Barron-Thomas
Backcourt- Rose-Ellis-Bogans-Watson-Korver
The if they make the Carmelo trade go through with Deng-Johnson and 2 1st then Chicago has the East all but locked

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantDo the Bulls have to put on a skimask and put a gun in their waistband to make this happen?

nateoak10ParticipantHe’s basically untouchable unless there getting a star in return, this is straight from the new ownership too. So Ronnie Brewer for MOnta will be laughed at hard and the W’s dont need a 3. Monta is playing like a all star team starter, Brewer is a role player and there not trading Udoh who is just starting to shoot a ball again lightly. TRADE FAIL

Mr. 19134ParticipantWarriors best trade scenario.
Warriors get: Andre Iguodala, Spencer Hawes
Sixers get: Andris Biendrins, Brandon Wright

Mr. 19134ParticipantWhere are my Warriors fans?
Would you guys do the the trade I proposed up there basically Iggy for Biendrins?
If you think Dorrell Wright looks good in that Golden State offense, imagine how Iggy would look…

bkb77ParticipantSixers dont want Andris Biendrins hes a bad contract & an Average player at best, why would we give up our best player & trading chip for that.

Da1potParticipantWe’ve got a huge Bulls fan here….. The only person on the Bulls roster that the Warriors would trade for to get rid of Ellis is Derrick Rose and we all know that isn’t going to happen. It’s not like either of those teams are doing horribly anyway, so why would this trade happen in the first place? Both teams will get better when their injured all-star power forwards return to the lineup.

SubZeroParticipantMonta needs the ball way too much. I don’t think he would work with Derrick Rose, especially since Rose doesn’t have much of a 3 ball. Stephen Curry is a good running mate for Monta right now. The Bulls would probably do this, but probably shop for Monta afterwards
+ all the above mentioned reasons why it wouldn’t happen

Mr. 19134ParticipantYeah I actually think Curry and Ellis go well together. Because Curry doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective. Curry can curl off screens, knock down shots, and provides a ton of floor spacing with range and accuracy shooting the ball providing Ellis with less crowded lane to slash thru. They are a mismatch on defense tho because either one of them is long enough to compete with taller 2guards. They do create a lot of turnovers tho so its not all bad.
And bkballer you don’t understand Andre Iguadola is a stat smut. His numbers are slightly misleading. He is one of the most versatile players in the league but he don’t do it constantly or effective enough to take over or impact games. He played every game for us last year and we were one of the worse teams in the league because he doesn’t impact games in the win lose column. He’s not a game manager who knows how to pull a team together down the stretch and rally off of. There have been 4th quarters this year where Collins didn’t even play him for the most part, like the 1st Washington game, where Iggy doesn’t even play. But for the most part Iggy played like nearly the whole game. He’ll log crazy numbers like 41- or 43 minutes a night and that is a tribute to work ethic and stamina. The dude got crazy endurance. But with that said we stink. We have one like one game this year with him in the lineup. He is the ultimate glue guy, may turn in too one of the top 3 number 2 guys in the league. But he is simply not the man and the Sixers need lost post defense. Biendrins fill one of the few gaping holes this team has and has the opportunity to come into a different conference and hopefully tap into more constent sides of himself. He is good for a double double and plays great post defense.

nateoak10ParticipantI wouldnt trade Biedrins for Iggy for 1 reason, who the F would our center be? Lee? LOL
With Lee and Beans we constantly were outrebounding people, I dont want to screw that up

NYK2010ParticipantIggy would help Warriors D a lot, they’d need to sign a Center in the offseason or trade for one not like their a contender this year.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI don’t think the Warriors could pass on the opportunity of adding a player of Iggy’s caliber to their lineup without having to give up Ellis or Curry. Iggy would fit seamlessly in their offense and give that team even more versatility and defense. Biendrins is not the best fit for that offense and Udoh when healthy will probably slowly take all his minutes away because he is better on offense and can rebound just as well.
