Blake Griffin for wiggins and pekovic. I’d assume timberwolves would never do it do to the fact that wiggins has tons of potential. I’m sure the clippers would say yes immediately But… would getting griffin be able to lure other free agents? Idk I would hate to see the timberwolves try to rebuild the team just to see wiggins leave once his contract is up just like love did because they can’t make the playoffs. Lets not forget Blake Griffin is arguably the best power forward in basketball when healthy

Anthony Davis is over rated and has been since Kentucky days. People rated him as an MVP contender. He’s miles from that, which means he’s the definition of over rated.

Hes weak, so plays extremely un-physical defense and this frees him to jump for blocks. His teams always have terrible defensive numbers overall.

Yes…I’m saying it. Anthony Davis is not a good defender. Blocks are nice…but lay a body on someone please. Hes totally scared of contact.

He cant make a constructive pass or put the ball on the floor in transition.

His mid range shot is nice…but so is a lot of under rated PFs.

His pain thresh-hold is league worst. No-one can argue that. League worst!

      And his teams don’t win.

He needs to improve a lot before I give him the mantle of best PF in the game.

Keyword is arguably and if Blake Griffin switched places im sure he would have put up around the same stats as AD did. But fine we will just say he’s the 2nd or 3rd best power forward. My point is that it would put them in the playoffs and you would actually see results instead of waiting a couple of years, and risking the chance of either wiggins not being the player they thought he would become. Or him becoming a free agent and going to a better organization.

If the Blake for Wiggns trade did happen the Wolves would be right where they were with Kevin Love. Wouldn’t make sense for the Wolves.

I could see Shabazz for Crawford being good for both teams, would love to see CP3 in a wolves jersey but I that would be a tough trade.

Gotta keep Wiggins, he could be great in 2-4 years.

I thougth the Clippers were better without Blake. That doesn’t add up. "We’re better without this guy, so here you can have him if you give us one of your cornerstone guys who could be a top-15 player in the league sometime in the next two years"

    Great idea

I think Griffin would be a top 5 player in the league again if DeAndre Jordan wasnt always clogging the key.

Jordan adds plenty, but some of it comes at Griffins expense. Griffin racks up a few assists dumping it off to Jordan but he’d be so much more effective in PicknRolls with a Stretch 5 because his pick&pop and RimRunning game is unstoppable

In my opinion, there’s no reason for Griffin to be getting so many assists. He should be a finisher. Like a Karl Malone or young Amare Stoudamire and not a prequel to Ben Simmons

I’m not saying DeAndre Jordan is bad….but having him at 100% effectiveness results in Griffin playing at 80%.

Griffin when healthy puts up 22-12-5. If that’s 80 percent of his best, wow.

I disagree with the DJ notion. If having a true center in the lane limits Blake, he’d fit well with about 8 centers. He’s fine with Jordan.

Griffin is a top-3 PF in the NBA. The Clippers are a top-5 or 6 team in the NBA with him in the lineup. Not sure how they get to the next level, but any move that sends him out of town seems like a step back in short term.

     @417basketball fan

Wiggins isn’t going anywhere in free agency for a minimum of 6 years. he’s got two years left on his rookie deal and he’ll get either or a 4 or 5 year max contract from the Wolves. Nobody coming off a rookie deal turns that down.

Hopefully there’s a new CBA that doesn’t limit teams to one "designated max" guy. That’s the stupidest rule ever…basically punishes teams for drafting well. It’s beyond absurd.
