R-Dot-13Participantwho do you think will be a sleeper in the tourney?
My picks..
UTEP, Siena, Richmond, Houston, St Mary’s, UNLV, Northern Iowa, Murray St i think can all make noise.. with Siena as the biggest sleeper.
WHat do you think?
Where do you think they will all be seeded?

HandDownManDown13ParticipantIm not gonna make too many guesses until the bracket comes out, but a few teams who will makenoise who are from major conferences but not necessarily teams people think of are:
Virginia Tech (if they get in)
Clemson
and Baylorbaylor is a veryyy dangerous team

QUINCEYga tech…..if there guards keep playing balanced by throwing it down low a lil more but still getting there shots they will be a team non of the top teams want to play

pistonsmanParticipantI will say UTEP they can go far if they play right.

JoeWolf1I wouldn’t want to play Notre Dame right now, I think they could have a sweet 16 run in them.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMaryland can make a play.

knicksfan7ParticipantGood Post. I think Siena can win a game, maybe two depending on how the bracket breaks. As JoeWolf1 told me UNI is a nice team capable of making a sweet 16 run. I think Baylor is extremely dangerous with elite 8 potential, as well as Maryland. I also would not be shocked if Houston wins there 1st round game, can’t count a team out with the country’s leading scorer.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI think Baylor could be a final four team depending on where they land.
I also think Texas could scare. I know ” Inconsistent” but on ESPN I saw them have a potential 2nd round matchup against Syracuse and I think they could win that game. If Coach Barnes is correct and these guys worry about the next level, I think they might go all out in this tournament.

cryan03ParticipantI feel like Georgetown can make a run at a Final Four…Honestly, I feel like any team from the Big East can make a run in the tourney.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI’m calling it now
Ohio State is going to be the team that can mess up everyone bracket.

cheesepillowParticipantI know a 4, 5 seed usually isn’t a sleeper darkhorse. But I think they can get to the Elite-8, Final 4…which is something that most people don’t have them get to.

knicksfan7ParticipantMy only concern with Ohio state is that they run only 6 guys. I don’t see them messing my bracket I will probably have them in the final 4. Or do you mean they exit early???

llperezit’s wide open. To me Kansas is looking like the only sure thing, everyone else from the other number 1 seeds all the way down to the 10 seeds can beat each other.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI agree about Vandy
I think OSU could be eliminated early.

JNixonParticipantMissouri and Oklahoma State are 2 teams I wouldn’t want to play.
Mizzou’s “40 Minutes of Hell” Full Court Press is a devil to worry about. And they have some quick perimeter guys and a quality scorer in Kim English. My pick as a 1st rounder in 2011.
OK State’s gimmicky offense and James Anderson could give teams problems. I think their PG Keiton Page is one of the very best shooters in the college game and Obi Muenelo is a SUPER underrated talent. Watch out for them making a Sweet 16 run if they get a good matchup.

QUINCEYi keep wondering why you keep saying that when its the fastest 40min in basketball
you may be too young but the 40min of hell belongs to arkansa back int he day

JNixonParticipantSame difference. May the basketball gods not shoot me down.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWow…Syracuse almost was a 2 seed….
