festar35ParticipantThis draft really is fluid, I mean I have no clue what is going to happen after those first 2 picks. The thing is not only is there like 3-4 options for Celtics at 3 they could also trade the pick as well, what they do can swing the draft and then Phoenix could the same.
There is a massive mix of potential vs production, this draft will make some organizations look like genius’ and others scratching their head wondering want went wrong.
I think this draft will produce a few 2nd round picks who may exceed that of the later lottery guys who may be picked on potential above all else which could be a mistake.
This draft despite it’s lack of perceived star power really excites me due to this intrigue and I look forward to seeing who separates themselves and finds roles within their organizations.

ChoppyParticipantTrying to get my mock draft sorted is doing my head in. There is no consensus beyond the top two and every day another prospect rises while another drops. I have no idea who goes where.

Hype MachineI think this draft, along with the 2013 draft were both incredibly hard to pick. It makes it so much more interesting, the NBA must be licking its lips.
However, I might give this one the edge because that draft was simply just low on quality.
I won’t begrudge anyone for introducing ‘high risk’ scenarios, and will begrudge anyone who just follows the status quo.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantwith such a week draft, i think many teams will swing for the fences and take some prospects much earlier than they should go EX – Thon Maker. it might not be Perty, but it is going to be fun!

festar35ParticipantOn a side note the guy Thon Maker kind of reminds me of is Perry Jones, he was really talented unfortunately never quite panned out.

cavairo7ParticipantTalk about a tough draft to pick. Once the Cavs won the lottery guys like Len, Noel, McLemore, and Olapido were talked about for the #1 pick and come draft day, SUPRISE, Anthony Bennett is the #1 pick, a guy most “draft experts” had outside their Top 5 players. At least this year we know only Simmons and Ingram are legitimate contenders for the top spot; watch the Sixers SHOCK the world and draft Kris Dunn #1 overall, just my luck :/

nill650Participantyeah, but the real shocker to most would be if Chriss goes #1, and as far as I can tell, it is not a total impossibility.

nill650ParticipantSure Simmons seems like a lock at 1,but he is no Lebron James or even Anthony Davis kind of Lock in, and it would be nothing short of a miracle if he was still on the board at 3, but the way that Brown has been doing in workouts along with Chriss I would not be at all surprised if both of them are picked before Ingram, then you throw in the Dunn,Murray& Hield immediate help factor if Boston keeps the pick, and Ingram could slide to 5 or 6.Or Philly could take ingram. so no this draft has zero predictability even though the odds are good Simmons is #1
