     #20-Shabazz Napier

    #37-Nick Johnson

    #59-Nemanga Dangubic

Anyone wanna explain to me how these selections make any sense.

I understand people believe Toronto would target a PG as insurance with Lowry, De Colo, and Vasquez all pending on free agency. Makes sense. Why not select Ennis a hometown kid much younger then Napier. Durin Ttylers workout Ujiri even stated he would be surprised to see gim available.

Ujiri also stated the positional needs are a big 3/SF and a shotblocking big man. GR3, Cleanthony Early and Jerami Grant all fill the SF need and are available at 20 and so is Mcdaniels and Young.

Toronto worked out Jarnell Stokes and he dominated his workout and showed interest for Toronto at 20 let alone 37. He is available at 37 and they have him getting passed on for a small SG when Toronto already drafted Napier at PG and has two very good SG in Ross and Derozan. Also Khem Birch is still available who could be developed into a shotblocking big and also had very high praise after his workout and is a Canadian kid.

Then at 59 without adressing either the SF or big man need they pass on Canadians Ejim, Bachinsky and Bhullar who could all be developed to fill the mentioned roles for yet another SG and stash prospect Dangubic. I dont mind drafting a dtash prospect but why not one that is an organizational need.

The mock draft is still great and one of the best and most informed out there but I really think it misses on all angles with Toronto.

Bachynski apparently lead the nation in blocks. Wouldn’t mind picking him up with our 59th pick. We don’t really have a shotblocker.

I personally have Ennis, Powell and Kane going to the Raptors.

The Raptors obviously want insurance for Lowry, so why not take Ennis?. He’s a hometown kid, as you mentioned, and he’d have great value at 20, he was a lottery pick for a good chunk of the season and he could be special. If Lowry stays it’s even better because it means Ennis will have time to develop and Lowry will have less pressure to play big minutes.

Powell was to add big guy depth and space the floor, it was only later I realised he was also a Canadian and in my mind it made him more likely to be picked.

Kane is an NBA ready talent avalible late in the draft due to his age. He’ll never be a star or even a starter but he could be a solid contributer off the bench.

Taking Ennis at #20 is a perfect fit like all others said above to represent the team in Canada, can see him has a long and sucessful career there. If so, I would take KJ McDaniels at #37 if he is still available, make sense if you say the Raptors need a 3 whom McDaniels average 2.6 bpg in his college career and #59 is just a bonus if anything pans out to be good. (Ginobili was picked #57, second to last in 1999 draft)
