i like the interracial comparison of harden with ginobli and Jrue Holiday is not Gary Payton but the stephen curry rajon rondo comparison is the worst comparison i have ever seen in my entire life rondo relies on elite quickness which curry lacks and Curry has one the best shots in nba and rondo by far has one of the worst rondo cannot his a jump shot out of 10 ft and Curry relies on his jump shot as the most potent part of his game the worst comparison ever

Ok some of these make no sense. How is Rose, Dwade meets Kidd. What about Rose is Kidd esque. Rose is a decent passer, average for a PG but nothing like Kidd. He doesn’t board like Kidd. He doesn’t post PG’s like Kidd. He isn’t crafty around the hoop, I don’t get it. Rose is a freak athlete with good skills but to say he has any Kidd traits is wrong. He has some good PG traits, but not Kidd traits. Also OJ and Penny? Are you kidding me. Penny was one of the most versatile and complete players. OJ is a pure scorer who despite working on it doesn’t have point skills. I compare Mayo to a more explosive Larry Hughes. Also the Beasley comparison lol, the Brook Lopez comparison, lol. And the Jrue comparison is horrendous.

Ughhh….one of the more painful threads i’ve encountered today

the only one i dont have a huge problem with is manu and harden

i think OJ Mayo is nothing like penny…hes a natural 2-guard while penny was a creator for himself and for others…OJ has struggled mightily this summer league running the point while Penny was more like tyreke evans..not a true postion but could play the 1 or 2 and even guard 3’s with his size

Ok. Went through the thread. Godfather was drunk, and came out swinging like Jermain O’Neal at the Palace of Auburn Hills. I’m going on 30 hours without sleep, and will do the same if I have to assess all 15 comparisons. So pardon the fact that I assess all comparisons in one comment …

“A” for effort, you wrote a lot. While many players match one a few aspects, their whole games are often very different. Meaning in almost all cases there is a better comparison out there.
