KD will be 30/31 that’s not old especially with the type of game he plays. He has a jump shot which doesn’t diminish, relies on athleticism but not solely so he actually has a stronger chance of playing late into his thirties.

I find this list interesting and I actually agree with all of it. Very good post, tried to do it myself and came up with the same 5 guys.

Big guys just don’t dominate like that anymore. For your prediction to be true, the league would have to change a lot.

I don’t think any big guys will even finish in top 10 MVP voting this year. Draymond Green is the best PF/C and hes like 6’7"

I’ll go with (In no particular order)!

    Simmons, Jackson, Wiggins, Leonard, Towns

Josh Jackson. Could be cutting it fine by 2020 though.

Possibly still a current day veteran in the mix too like KD or Curry…if injuries dont derail them.

And Boogie? I really cant see that at all.

Curry and KD will both be 32 and given how polished and skill based their games are (not overly reliant on athleticism) I think at least one of the two, if not both, will still be top 5 players in the game. Kobe was still a top 5 player at the age of 34 and Lebron is still a top 3 player and he’s 31.

Yeah, people have done some type of list like this sporadically for a long time in here. 2020 is not too far out for there to be massively different players, unless career-altering injuries happen.

      For 2019-20 NBA Season

Player – Age of Player Today (Age of Player in 2019-20 Season) – Experience in League in 2019-20 Season – High School Class

Top 5 Player means actually someoem who is every year potentially the best player in the league. And honestly I can see no circumstances that Porzingis and Simmons could be that good. None whatsoever, both players should be good but great?

Curry and Durant both relies much more on skill than athleticism, that’s why I think at 31-32 they will still be really really but top5 maybe even still top3 if healthy

    my predictions:

1.Anthony Davis (If healthy, it becomes a little bit of concern)

    2. Kevin Durant

    3. Stephen Curry

    4. KAT (really think he can be the best one day, but remember 2019-2020 season will only be hist fifth at age of 24)

5.Wanna go a little bit bold here – The Greek Freak!

Davis, KAT, Kawhi,Wiggins, KD, Steph, Giannis, Porz, Jabari, Simmons. Ingram are all solid choices.

I’d throw Klay Thompson, Drummond, Lillard, McCollum as other possibles to consider.

A wildcard if he is sound could be Embiid.

Kinda surprised by the amount of Simmons votes in here. I see him being an allstar but I don’t see him developing the offensive game necessary of being a top 5 player.

Omitting Steph and KD I’d go in no particular order:

    Davis

    Kat

    Drew

    Kawhi

lonzo/ Josh right on the verge of taking over
