So, who are the 3 most likely teams moving into the Top 10 who aren’t already there? I see that Portland is looking to try and get Curry, Bulls trying to make a move to get a couple of different guys (Blair, Johnson, DeRozan…not Mullens for the love of God), Phoenix might make a move, etc…

    My Top 3:

    Boston

    Detroit

    Houston

    Anyone else have any ideas?

P.S. Sorry if this topic was posted before. I went back a few pages and didn’t see it.

Magic, With Gortat and Turk, and their seemingly inability to be able to sign either, maybe a sign and trade to move up

Portland, they always do something crazy

I think you got the most heavily rumored though, I also heard teams like Chicago, Nets, and Minny have some trade ideas to move up, as well as Knicks but that would be from 8.

    Mavs love Hill supposidly.

I would say 5 is most readily available, then 3, 7, and 9…

The Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard is the best in the buisiness when it comes to draft night. Look for him to shock some people and still come out on top.

I originally put Chicago but I am such a homer that I had to resist the temptation. I think that the Bulls are going to move to #6 and get Hill. That would probably make me the happiest on draft night at least. That would be the best case scenario, at least one that is at all likely, unless the Bulls are able to bring in Amare or Bosh.

Of course I read in the Boston Globe that Danny Ainge (although he denied it) would be willing to move Rajon Rondo to move into the Top 10. That makes my Hinrich to Minny for #6 (with more than just Hinrich of course) look pathetic in comparison.

just don’t see Houston putting up a good enough package for any pick or a player that is even worth it. The only real one I would take is Harden especially if we are trading T-Mac. Rubio is not needed with our solid young PG’s although i’d love to have him, but Brooks really showed the whole city of Houston he is our future. Thabeet would be good, but who would he give up for him? He’ll just be a backup, but who knows behind Yao and if Hakeem helped him out then maybe he could become something. Boston should just stay with their team and ride it one last year. Why not? They lost in the second round, but no K.G or Powe. Detroit…no comment. They need help.

Detroit, Chicago or Portland would be my top 3.

I could see Detroit or Chicago trying to grab Thabeet or Hill (or Harden in CHI’s case). Portland would likely be going after Rubio if they traded up that high, otherwise I like them moving into the back of the lottery for Blair.

Oh, and I agree with you about Pritchard – that dude knows how to work a draft. He gets maximum value for each and every pick – heck of a GM.

I’m not sold Philly won’t find a way to get up there and grab Jonny Flynn, Brandon Jennings, or Tyreke Evans. That may just be me hoping here though.
