IndianaBasketballParticipantCan he get his respect now? On this site, more than probably any other site, Tony Parker doesn’t get the respect he deserves. People want to rank the top five-ten point guards like five times per month and Parker is consistently left out of the top five. There are some people who have even had Tony Parker in the bottom ten.
Before this series, people said that Russell Westbrook was the second best player in this series. Wrong… After ripping the Thunder to shreds last night, there’s no doubt Parker is the second best player in this series. He’s the best player on the Spurs.
I was called a fool when I ranked Parker as the best point guard in the NBA this season. That’s not looking so foolish now. It’ll be interesting to watch people jump on his bandwagon (like they did Dirk’s last season) because this is about to continue. He’s that good and is having a career year.

fliptonnParticipanti think tony parker has gotten his respect. but just for fun, why don’t you rank your top 5. I can think of 6 guys that really deserve to be top five and honestly i don’t know how to rank them.
No order (Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook)
I might get a neg for this but it would be hard to say that Tony Parker isn’t the best pg in the league considering the way he’s toyed with Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook these last two rounds.
