So, it turns out "Mr. PER" John Hollinger is putting up his updated player profiles for this year. I know many people want to look at them, but ESPN can be a real B- when they’re putting up paywalls and shoving the benefits of insider in your face every other article. So, for sh*ts and giggles, also because I’m pulling my hair out waiting for either Oct. 5 (Start of the preseason), or Oct. 30 (start of the regular season), I might as well post them here, for nbadraft.net and the whole internet to enjoy.

Remember when I said I’d change the name back to "player profiles?" I LIED.

Getting an early start today with the Grizzlies up. Bulls up tomorrow, Hawks coming Tuesday. Enjoy.

Rudy Gay’s profile is perfect. It’s just why I can’t get excited about him.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Zach Randolph… He wasn’t close to being 100% healthy or strong in the lower body last season and in the playoffs. Reggie Evans is strong, but there’s no way he can push a healthy Z-BO that far off of the block.

Randolph has never relied on athleticism, etc… I wouldn’t worry about him being on the decline. As long as he’s healthy, he’s damn near automatic for 20-10.

The numbers don’t really matter for Randolph anymore because with Marc, Rudy, Conley, Speights, and Arthur the numbers are going to be accumulated one way or another. The team is good enough where individual numbers don’t really matter. The key is him being healthy enough to force defenses to account for him every time he touches the ball. A healthy Randolph cannot be single covered. An injured one wasn’t winning his match ups like he normally did.

     I agree.

Zach Randolph was nowhere near game-shape (yes, even by his standards) when he returned last season. And like IB said, his game does not rely on athleticism whatsoever, and if it did I’m not sure he would be in the league.

    I expect him to rebound.

Athletic guard with low skill level. Slasher who struggles to finish."

I’m sorry, I still feel Selby’s skill level is VERY HIGH! I think if he got/gets extended run, he would put up amazing stats, I still feel he could be a Westbrook type player or Jerryd Bayless at the minimum. It’s just crazy, how people turn on players. Skills + Playing Time + Situation is the equation for a player to reach his potential. The Scouts don’t seem to see that though.

too many point Guards? they have 4 point guards listed there, although most are combo guards,

and Haddadi only as back-up for Gasol, well speights can also play the the 5, so that takes care of that,

and haddadi is spot on, although he massacres every other team in Asia, Except for china,

Jerryd Bayless & Tony Wroten combo off the bench can be so dynamic off the bench!
