Gotta say, I’ve been really impressed with Tobias Harris. His play since he’s arrived in LA has been outstanding…. and he’s cementing himself as a top 10 PF in today’s small ball game. He has been efficient & proving not to be a turnstile defender.

Numbers that particularly stood out to me are his 58% True Shooting percentage. That’s great….. for a guy who is taking 5.4 three pointers per game. Which by the way he’s connecting at a 43% clip too as a Clipper!

Also, his turnovers. Just 1.7 turnovers per game with a sturdy 23% usage rate. He’s not the most creative passer….. but he makes the correct read most times.

Not sure about his fit with Gallinari….. but Tobias is a keeper & should be a hot commodity when he hits free agency in 2019! He will be in his age 27 season.

Not hating on him at all but do you think any of it has to do with playing next to DJ? He’s way more athletic then Drummond. DJ can grab boards and help him out on the defensive end so he can focus more on offense. I’m not taking anything away from Tobias I love his game and agree with everything you said. They could be a lethal combination if they can keep them togeather.

Harris was playing pretty much the same way before he got traded. He was shooting career highs in 3pt% and 3PA at Detroit, which got him an invite to the AS weekend in the 3 point comp. Its not like DJ has completely upped his game, I’d say he has maintained his level of play since the trade, also not an easy thing to do.

I really like Harris, he is very good at SF or PF I really don’t think it matters.

I’m not sure what the Clippers plans are for him, but if available he would immediately be my #1 target for my Pacers this off-season. He can shoot really well, is big physical/athletic and he isnt a ball dominant scorer which fits well next to Oladipo.

I just don’t see that Clippers team being anything better than an 8th seed even if DJ stays so a rebuild wouldn’t hurt them, but I think it’ll depend on Jordan.

Harris has always been underrated to me. Versatile scorer who’s become a decent enough defender of 4s to where he’s become a very solid player (considering his offensive prowess). He’s a 3-level scorer, who’s efficient and can play on or off the ball.

I would love him on the Rockets, I think a guy like him is the only piece we’re missing (if anything). We have a lot of versatile 3/4 defender types, but a 3/4 who can create his own shot and play off of Harden/Paul would add another dimension to our team.

I really like him. He can shoot and also bully his way to the basket against a lot of wing players and score with post moves. He kind of reminds me of a better-shooting, less-athletic version of Rudy Gay at the same age.

If the Spurs tragically have to trade Kawhi, they could do worse than getting Harris and a couple first rounders from the Clips.
