Most people on this site have a ton of points. I don’t, i am in the negatives, way in there. I don’t know why, but everytime I create content people downgrade me. So I’m just wondering what is the deal with the points. I understand using them for the mock drafts, especially for contests, but why not reset them once the NBA draft is over. We are only here to talk basketball, and all that matters is our opinion. Last I checked, no opinion is worth points. So what is the deal with the points?

The points are a forbidden topic… Now that you have created this, you will go down about 20 more points… Thats just the way it works… It also give people a reason to create forum topics to push the ones about basketball into the latter pages of the threads… Please never speak of this again…

points are a way of inspiring users to think about their comments and not just spew whatever. It’s kind of silly, but based on the number of people who seem to care about points, i guess it works.

I’m sorry if this upset you, but I was just wonderin’. It seemed weird to me that a site that is based on people’s opinions would have points. I was sick in tired of people giving me negatives for no reason. Just because I base my own opinion. Excuse me but am I not entitled to my own opinion? Personally I think points should only be included for draft reasons, to award winners of mock drafts, not to stop people from puttin’ stupid comments. That’s what the flag as offensive button is for. Points should not even be here.
