Lafferty DanielParticipantKyle Anderson and Jordan Adams are suspended for tonight’s game against Oregon, so Zach LaVine will be starting and should see a season high in minutes. LaVine has a chance to shine tonight. Zach was ranked as high as 5th overall on this site earlier this season, but inconsistent minutes and a terrible shooting stretch has moved him closer to the end of the first round. Scouts have been waiting for this moment and it could be make or break for LaVine.

llperezmy first thought exactly. I watch just about every bruin game, and im a big believer in Zach because he moves around the court so effortlessly and has nba range on his jumper. But he has cooled off in conference play. He usually plays around 25 minutes a night and is not a primary option and occasionaly tries to force shots to try and get himself involved which can lead to off shooting nights if he doesn’t get any easy buckets. But now with adams(17.2ppg…5.6rpg…2.9stls) and kyle Anderson(14.9ppg…8.6rpg…6.9apg..50%fg) its the lavine show.
For anyone who wants to see what they hype is with lavine and whether or not you think he is legit, tonight would be a great opportunity to check him out.

llperezhe shot well the last game. 4/7 overall and 2/3 from three for 14 points. But yeah, before that he had some real no shows. If he goes for any kind of long stretch without getting a shot up, he starts jacking some tough stuff up there just to try and get his.

llperezterrible drive by lavine there, has to give the ball up to the open man. He is real weak attacking the rim right now.

llperezokay first half. scored the first 5 points for ucla then didn’t score again finishing with 5 points on 2/7 shooting. No turnovers though and the final assist before the half where he went one on one and broke his man down then hit his teammate cutting the baseline was a nice dime.

PhillytheKidhe is going to be a stud I have no doubt. I was in love with this kid the first time I saw him.
I felt the same the first time I saw Durant. First time I saw Wade I knew he was going to be a star.
Every player goes through ups and downs, but Lavine is like Wiggins early in the year, just misused underused. The coach’s son at UCLA is running point while Lavine is on the wing playing a 3….come on now.
I am actually glad he isn’t blowing it up because I want him to stay late lottery so the Sixers pick him up. But whenever Lavine touches the ball he makes the right pass and somehow, instill confidence in whoever he passes it to, enough to score, because its always the right pass.
He definitely needs to finish better, but overall, the kid will look darn good in a Sixers uniform, running transition with MCW, Wiggins, and Noel.

Lafferty DanielParticipantWill pay two Bitcoins for GIFs of his last two layups. He’s heating up and looks good running the point.

mikeyvthedonParticipantBryce Alford was destroying us more so than LaVine in this one. Zach is a great prospect, but he still has a ways to go. We did whatever it took to lose, though and somehow won this. I feel Oregon is thoroughly NIT bound, though at the very least this gives us more of a chance at the dance. By the way, I did mean to call you trees.
