rileymcshea3ParticipantNahhhh I’m kidding but on ESPN ,I think it was Steven A Smith who said that the Heat need to break up the Big 3 if they lose so here is my best way for the Heat to blow it up.
First off my trade machine isnt working but I did check the salaries and they did even out.
Heat get:Al Jefferson,Kevin Martin,Luis Scola,and Aaron Affaflo
Jazz get:Kyle Lowry
Nuggets get:Dwayne Wade
Rockets get:Chris Bosh,Wilson Chandler,and Mike Miller
Why the Heat do it because there starting lineup is Pg:Chalmers,Sg:Affaflo,Sf:Lebron,Pf:Scola,C:Jefferson with Kevin Martin off the bench
Why the Jazz do it the get Lowry who basically said he wants to leave the Rockets.
Why the Nuggets do it,they get Wade ,a superstar to bring them over the top
Why the Rockets do it they get Bosh who is kinda like Gasol who they wanted last year, they also get Wilson Chandler who can be a sg if they believe in Parsons .They also get Mike Miller to even out salaries
So tell me what you think

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSo, as a Rockets fan, we give up three possible 20 PPG scorers in Scola, Lowry, and Martin for Chris Bosh who can probably still get it done, Chandler who is questionable, and a terrible contract in Mike Miller?
Not to mention the fact that the line-up of Bosh-Chandler-Parsons-Patterson is not much better than our current line-up, maybe even worse. We go from a fringe playoff team to a top-10 lottery selection.

HaleParticipantNuggets win this deal by basically swapping Afflalo for D-Wade.

BlueLacesParticipantIf the Heat blow it up, it will be at the expense of Erik Spoelstra and possibly Bosh. No way are they going to trade Dwyane Wade. If they want depth, some team will be willing to give up some decent pieces to see if Bosh is the missing piece to put them over the top.

He is also the guy who said that the Celtics would get absolutely destroyed by the Heat.

For_Never_EverParticipantKevin Martin is a good player, almost great shooter. I think he would actually work well with Lebron. Also adding Al jefferson on the block is a better choice than Bosh in my opinion.

akhan786ParticipantWhen he said blow it up…I don’t think he meant trade 2 of the Big 3, maybe just one.
Besides Heat fans shouldn’t just turn into Chicken Littles if the Heat don’t win it this year.
IT’S ONLY BEEN TWO YEARS.
The Big Three should stay put, but though I respect the guy, Spoelstra needs to go. You can sometimes see the lack of respect that the players have for him so it’s a lost cause keeping him around.
I think he’s a decent coach, but I think he’d fit better with a young up and coming team than a squad filled with stars. The Heat need a coach that can demand respect from his players and Spo isn’t fitting that bill.
Another thing is they need to get a better supporting cast. They just need ONE guy to be able to consistently light it up from the bench.
JR Smith anyone? Idk if the money would work out, but I definitely think the Heat should look into to signing him as long as JR can prove that he can control himself in Miami. (He got arrested in Miami a couple days ago)

draftmangtParticipantI can’t really see this team being blow up. I think Lebron and Wade are both untouchable and i don’t think the heat could get fair value if they decided to trade bosh. Bosh has been overlooked since joining the heat but i still think he could be the #2 guy on a legit contender.

rileymcshea3ParticipantOK so yall didnt like that trade but what about you move Javale McGhee to the Rockets and Mike Millers contract to the Nuggets? then the Rockets line up of
Pg-Dragic
Sg-Chandler
Sf-Parsons
Pf-Bosh
C-Javal Mcghee
Now I would take that over the current lineup and the rockets would be a really solid defensive team.
Plus the Nuggets get rid of McGhee and add Mike Millers contract but its still pretty amazing trade for the Nuggets but every team still benefits

GrandfiNalley101ParticipantJust laughing at the Heat! Hoping for one more win from the Celtics.

omphalosParticipantI think if the Heat doesn’t win this season, Pat Riley needs to come down and coach the team to their first championship, Spoelstra just isn’t getting it done, getting thoroughly outcoached in every big series.

laarethekingsParticipantThe Heat are not trading anyone…. They will find a new head coach.

mikeyvthedonParticipantBut he has no job if they do not win a championship this season. He has established so little chemistry with their line-up’s, his adjustments just do not seem to work. I think it is ridiculous to "blow-up" the team, but trying a new coach, or Pat Riley busting some @ss, might not be the worst thing in the world.

truwizfan4evrParticipantI want heat to lose so bad.

PulseGlazerParticipantWhy the hell would they blow it up after a rushed, shortened season when Bosh is either out hurt or playing hurt?

TyroberParticipantWade and Chamlers for Scola, Lowry, and Martin. Houston gets their superstar and HEAT have been starting lineup in basketball

TallmanNYCParticipantThe Nuggets don’t want to get rid of McGhee. I believe he is a restricted free agent and the Nuggets may not want to pay for him. But he played well once coming over and they definitely would prefer to start him over Mozgov in the near future (unless George Karl really goes insane with his rotations).
I don’t think the folks above recognize how good the collection of Scola, Lowry and Martin are. Each of those guys is top ten in their respective positions in the league. Though admittedly Martin and Scola each had a bad year.
I don’t think any of the big three are getting traded. Spo might get fired, but I think he might be allowed back with a hot seat. The Heat have to get younger and bigger. But that is very hard to do and they seem to like to sign veterans. That has been their mistake as far as role players are concerned. They should have been going young and had Lebron and Wade teach the young guys good workout habits.
They will not be adding any high price free agents though. They tried that with Battier and Miller. They will go young, athletic and role players. They might add shooters as well. Novack would be a nice PF back up to Bosh.

Pro 1ParticipantThe coach is getting fired before any 1 of the Big 3 is moved………
