WarblingSpamalopeParticipantThis team is driving me crazy. They just seem so lethargic. Ricky Rubio looks like a lost puppy. I agree they shouldn’t throw in the towel on him. Although, it’s hard to ignore how the opposing point guard always shoots better than 50% every night. I’m trying to decide if Adelman just can’t reach them, or if it’s just the wrong mix of personalities. There is not a fiery personality in the bunch and I don’t know who the leader is. Kevin Love is not a pull the guys together and fire them up type. I don’t think “Ole” describes the defense well enough. The Kings shot 57% against them. I was not a fan of drafting Bazz, but seriously you keep trotting Shved and his 30% fg out each night? Is it too much to ask for a Wolves fan to not spend another year dreaming of ping pong balls?

DolanCareParticipantThe Wolves need to foucs on their defense. Pekovic is a a great post scorer who should be moved to a team that lacks his skillset. Because next to Love, there is more redundancy than effectiveness.

JD’s_TimberpuppiesParticipantI’m annoyed…To be honest though, the problem is Love. Every single time he misses a shot down low he throws his hands up to complain. Kevin gets his fair share of calls though. Often times he just throws up an out of control attempt at the hoop expecting a call and when he doesn’t get the call its arms up crying, never getting back on defense. I honestly think the best solution for the Wolves is to trade Love, I’m sure everyone will think I’m nuts but I don’t care. His value is at an all time high and I don’t think he wants to be here anyways.
This team is going nowhere and I’m starting to question Adelman also. He has that my way or the highway approach, which doesn’t work anymore. A great coach adapts to his players strengths. He is hell bent on running his corner offense, but it’s not working. So why are we still doing it?! This is not the 2003 Kings. Mold your coaching around the team you have not vica versa!

GronounoursParticipantWhat’s happening to Rubio is puzzling. The guy is a competitor, and he certainly didn’t hide on the court when he was overhyped in Spain at age 15. We all know his shooting is bad, but he almost never reaches 10 dimes anymore.

JD’s_TimberpuppiesParticipantEvery offseason what does Ricky do? Plays international ball, and guess what? Gets limited minutes, because he is more focused on showcasing his razzle dazzle ball handling and no look passes than he is improving his jump shot or his ability to finish around the rim. It baffles me that the Rubio I see now is the same Rubio I saw ages ago playing against the U.S. in the Olympics. I’ve seen no improvement, and at this point I’m starting to believe I will never see any improvement. He simply is what he is.

MattHoopsParticipantI think it is time to get rid of Love.. He is not coming back after next year.. Just not sure who would take him that would give Minny any value.. The Lakers and Knicks have nothing to offer…
I would love Kevin Love to Chicago..
To Chicago:
F-Kevin Love
G-Kevin Martin
F-Corey Brewer
To Minnesota:
First Round Draft Pick
F-Nikola Mirotic
G-Jimmy Butler
Carlos Boozer’s Expiring
That would pair Rose and Love, who are friends. They get an excellent shooter in Martin(although I don’t think Thibs will like his defense)..They can resign Gibson at the 4 and still have Noah at the 5.
Minnesota would have two first round draft picks….. And two young players in Mirotic and Butler to build around. Pecovic would also be there yet. I think they should try to draft a point guard to push or replace Rubio.. It is painful how many point guards the Twolves have passed over (Curry, Lawson, Burke, Carter-Williams) for Rubio and Flynn.
