Duncan today became the player with the most wins with one team.

Previously, John Stockton held the record with 953 wins 551 losses with the Jazz.

Duncan, now stands at 954 wins 381 losses.

TIM DUNCAN has averaged 58.5 WINS per season with the spurs.

    That is AMAZING.

this point but without his interior defense the Spurs never beat the Heat in 2014… He was great ALL 5 games & broke the Heat’s back on the defensive end… The guy is amazing & played all 4 years at Wake Forrest… One of the Great Leaders in NBA history & a class act…

Who is going to eat their words re: Delly.

Has been a top 5 PG in the East. Happy to argue that with anyone.

About time we give the guy some credit.

Leads the league in numerous statistical categories. Including most Alley-Oop assists.

Derrick Rose said "It isn’t even a matchup" in regard to Delly. It was such a funny clip, I recommend you all watch it. And then go compare their stats and tell me whether you agree with the Former MVP.

Please rip, stop bombarding every thread with your off topics. I have nothing against you starting threads (to certain degree) or hyping every Aussie when the moment is due. This is a Tim Duncan thread can you please have some manners and stop eye molesting users.

What else can anyone really say about Tim Duncan that warrants a new thread?

Duncan’s career is so good that it’s boring. His skills are so good that they’re boring too.

I can’t get entertained by him. He’s too good, and too boring.

In summary, he’s good (but boring).

You can’t be much of a basketball fan if you don’t enjoy watching the big fundamental play. He plays the game the way it’s meant to be played.

I like how on this forum, everyone dislikes everyone to a certain point. No hate, just dislike, some have more dislike than others. It’s actually really entertaining!

They say Kevin Love is the best outlet passer…Kevin Love with that ugly stasche is trying to come off as a grimy dirty player….he was getting upset because he wasn’t getting calls today.

The king of outlet passing and passing as a big man is Timmy.  People forget too fast, and Love sucks.

Chris Webber might have something to say about that.

Duncan is amazing and no one would argue with that but the entire spurs organization is amazing as well. When you look at the run that they have had over the past 3 decades consistently competing for championships every year it is basically unprecedented in the modern age of pro sports. It actually goes back even further than Duncan. Since David Robinson’s rookie season in 1989 they have won at least 50 games every season except the one year (1997) when Robinson was hurt and they ended up lucking into Duncan in the draft. The players change, the system changes, and the league changes around them but somehow they just manage to continue to draft well and adapt and end up in contention every year. Pretty remarkable stuff.

at this point in duncan & kobe’s career..duncan is still having an impact…and thats the difference between him and kobe..even though he’s getting close to retirement, he still contributes in other areas like post defense, blks & rbs..if kobe aint scoring he’s no use to the lakers….

That’s an unfair argument, ’cause Duncan has a much better team around him and Bryant is coming off of three consecutive career altering injuries.
