     "I have confidence in my agent and the organization to get it done," Harden said. "They know how important it is, so I’m sure it will be done."

    He basically says the Thunder are so close to the goal that breaking it up after all they have grown from would be stupid.

    Nice move by Harden. Thats why in the long run OKC will be the best team in the league. They are all willing to give a little to achieve a goal. I know the Miami heat did the same thing, but not on the level of the Thunder.

    I’m so glad to hear this…just like CodySLC said, this is part of the reason why OKC will be one of the best if not the best team in the league for years. They’re all so selfless and willing to sacrifice for each other to reach their goals as a team

     I feel they all should have sacrificed

    Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden all of them should have taken less

    The Miami big 3 gave up a lot of salary to play together, LeBron for example will be on less than KD this season. I know it is only $3K for this season the difference between LeBron and KD but LeBron, Bosh and D-Wade all maybe gave up $3 million or so a year across their contracts to play together.

    "You can get a good look at a butcher’s ass by sticking your head up there."  But until Harden signs the dotted line, he can say all the right things and still not sign. He isnt a trouble maker, of coarse he will say all the right things the season is upon us.

     As far as the Miami 3, all of those guys have already had max contracts before the Miami deal. Harden needs to make all he can. NBA careers are relatively short. Gotta cash in.
