Most of the things written here are opinion based.

    – I always thought the Embiid foot issue was a smokescreen by the sixers gm to try and force the Knicks to trade up for Embiid. Not only did he ruin the draft for himself by passing on Mudiay, he ruined the Knicks, Magic and Kings draft as they probably choose Okafor, Porzingis and Hezonja, respectively – all perfect fits.

    – The winners are Minny, Lakers, Heat, Pistons (drafted who they wanted), Nets, Suns, Pacers, Rockets and the Blazers for acquiring proven talent in Plumlee.

    – I did like what the cavs did by trading for couple early second round picks. Osman looks like a gem and Griff obv. liked him. Christmas could’ve gone first rd. and Pointer could be a poor mans RHJ. Not bad.

I would like to add the Wizards as winners. Jazz also did themselves well and Celtics did get R.J. Hunter.

I’m not sure if Christmas actually had a chance to go first rd. but he’s got first rd. talent no doubt in my mind. If it wasn’t for his age he goes higher. Might be ready to contribute right away though.

In the first sentence I meant trading up for Okafor, not Embiid.

You are seemingly getting negged by 76er fans who refuse to acknowledge their shit show of a team.  Okafor, Noel and Embiid cannot play together.  2 of the 3 need to be moved.  At least I guess they got a player that will finally play year one for them?  Other than that its turning into a disaster for them…. As long as Philly fans keep blindly supporting they will stick with it.

Hard to believe they passed on Mudiay. Another lousy season they end up… with another big. I’ll give Hinkie the benefit of the doubt, maybe Embiid did indeed suffer a setback. But for now, it looks bad for the 76ers.

I am sure next year they will finish with the worst record in the league… fall to the 2nd spot in the lottery and draft Skal Labassiere because well…. why not.

I don’t think it looks that bad for the Sixers. If they handle this situation like when Utah had Milsap, Favors, Kanter, and Big Gay Al then yea it will look really bad. But this is Sam Hinkie running the team and he’s given me no reason to believe he isn’t a decent GM. Robert Covington, KJ McDaniels, Jerami Grant, and Tony Wroten are all legit NBA players to varying degrees that were either acquired for a 2nd, drafted in the 2nd, or undrafted players that Hinkie has acquired and developed. MCW won ROY and was traded for what is believed to be a valuable draft pick (we will see if that’s true after free agency). Noel had a fantastic first year.

There’s 96 minutes a game allocated to the 4 and 5 positions on the floor. 96/3= 32 minutes per game for Okafor, Embiid, and Noel; that’s perfect! I literally see no reason for anyone else to see the floor at these two positions as long as all three are healthy and not in foul trouble. That being said, Jerami Grant was very effective at the 4 last year so maybe a few minutes for him but the other dogs gotta eat somewhere else.

My hope for the Sixers now is that they acquire Eric Bledsoe. The Suns just drafted a SG (great pick btw), have Brandon Knight who I hear they are matching offers for (see if that’s true or not), and are honestly not going to win a championship with the current roster they have. The Sixers have some decent young players + picks to offer for Bledsoe and seemingly no issues with his almost $60 million due the next 4 years.
